Birthday bash
Arya's P.O.V.
_________

As I walked through the front door, a mix of emotions filled my mind. On one hand, I was annoyed and frustrated with the punishment I received at school for talking too loudly in the corridor. Seniors had started almost punishing students left and right for their own fun and I was getting irritated. Luckily Adnan would save grace and I most times. Having to write an essay on the importance of maintaining decorum and social order while in uniform seemed like a tedious task. But on the other hand, I couldn't let anything ruin my excitement for the party tonight.

I quickly brushed off the negative thoughts and focused on what mattered most at the moment - getting ready for the party. I headed straight to my room, tossing my school bag aside, and grabbed the hair brush from my dresser. Tonight, I was going as a Wednesday addams, and I couldn't wait to see Grace's reaction.

I carefully applied a bluish-grey pair of lenses to give my eyes a haunting allure. Then, I began working on my makeup, carefully blending and shading, applying freckles. I must say, it was the best makeup I had ever done. The satisfaction of seeing my transformation in the mirror brought a smile to my face.

With my makeup complete, it was time to put on my dress and corset. I had chosen a stunning ensemble that perfectly matched my character. As I slipped into the outfit, I felt a surge of confidence and excitement. I couldn't wait to show off my look to Adnan because I couldn't really show it to Grace.

I grabbed my phone and sent a quick snap to Adnan, letting him know that I was ready. We had been exchanging snaps to keep the party a secret from Grace, and it added an extra layer of thrill to the whole experience.

Before leaving for the party venue, I decided to make a quick stop in the lobby. To my surprise, I saw my parents there, resting and enjoying a cup of tea. I had thought they would be at the hotel, preparing for the grand opening tomorrow. It was a pleasant surprise to see them looking not stressed.

I took a seat next to them, eager to catch up and share my excitement about the Halloween party. We chatted for a while, discussing school, their day, and my plans for the evening.

"Mumma, papa you're here?" I asked lifting a biscuit from the table.

"Oh just going to have a spa day before the big day. I'm so tired ." My mom sipped her tea.

"Yes, not for me. I have to head to the hotel soon." Dad was clearly stressed.

"Is everything fine?" I questioned.

"Yes. Just have to oversee. Xavier has done a phenomenal job .I have no worries." His obsession with Xavier was growing day by day and I feared if he found out about my decision what would occur to him. Worry or anger.

"I'll be leaving now , I have to be at graces birthday." I kissed the both of them and my mom wiped my red lipstick off her face.

"You always do this Arya!" She scowled and smiled while I giggled.

It was a nice moment of connection before I headed out for the night. As I bid my parents farewell, I couldn't contain my anticipation any longer. I rushed out of the lobby and made my way to the party venue, ready to make this party a night to remember.

As I arrived at the party venue, I was immediately greeted by the bustling atmosphere of people working hard to finish up the decorations and plating. I made sure to greet everyone with a smile and a friendly hello, acknowledging their efforts in making the party come together.

As I walked around, I couldn't resist the temptation of tasting a little bit of everything. The aroma of the delicious treats filled the air, and I found myself wanting to stuff my face with all the sweet things. However, I had to remind myself to pace my indulgence and save some room for later.
