Chapter 19: Special (EchoKits PoV)

It felt like it was very hard for me to sleep over the night. As it was that I knew this was the last day for me. The last day that I had to be stuck living in the queens den.
I did in fact seem to feel quite a bit excited. As I felt like I should be a little bit sad about it. But I knew that I was not, just as I then began to speak to myself quietly.
"It's time to move on... Time to move ahead in life..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As I did in fact look outside of the den just as soon as I had said that.
My eyes seemed to be wide as I looked up at the stars and the moon. As it was quite a bit of a pretty sight to see. As I did in fact seem to hold on to it for quite a bit of some time.
That was of course until I heard the voice of my mother. As I turned my head over to MintNose. As I realized that she was in fact awake, at that.
"Yeah... And when you do move ahead in life you will realize that it's a bad idea to stay up so late and keep everyone else up..." She did in fact seem to say to me.
She had her eyes squinted at me just as soon as she had said that. As it was that my eyes grew wide just as it was in fact like so. As I realized that she had a fair point on what she had said.
As it was that I saw that my sister HeartKit was also up. And I then did in fact hear her go and mutter something to me. Just as I then listened as to whatever it was that she felt like she had to say, at that.
"Come on EchoKit... Please get some sleep... We have a very busy day tomorrow..." She did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
As it was that I knew that she was in fact correct. And I knew that the entire clan knew what was going on. As I did in fact know that I needed to be up and ready for it.
I did in fact do my best to try to stay as calm as I could. As I did in fact go and lower my head. Just as I spoke back to them both in quite a bit of a soft voice, at that.
"Sorry... I know... It's just so hard... I am a bit worried and stressed out... I don't know who my mentor will be... I am scared, I hope I am ready for this..." I did in fact just seem to say, all of the sudden.
As I kind of felt stupid for the fact that I had admitted that. As I did in fact curse to myself just a little bit. Just as soon as it was that my mother then went and nodded her head back at me.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been like so. That was when it was that I then saw my mother smile. As she did in fact also go and speak back to me as it was like so.
"Your father has already chosen the cats to train you both... They are worthy cats... Trust me... Don't worry, get some rest, everything will be just fine..." She did in fact just seem to say, all at once, at that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been like so. That was when it was that I then began to move. As it was that I did in fact go and head back on over to them both.
I let out a bit of a soft sigh just as I did like so. As I knew that what my mother had said was in fact true. And I then did in fact go and nod just as I spoke back to her.
"Thank you MintNose... I will try to rest now..." I did in fact just seem to say, all of the sudden. As just as soon as it was that I had said as to just what I had said to her.
It did in fact seem to calm both her and my sister down. As it was that the both of them seemed to smile. Just as it was that they then closed their eyes to fall back to sleep.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact been like so. I then closed my eyes and fell asleep as well. As I did in fact not seem to realize as to just how tired I was, at that.

I woke up, as I seemed to hear a bit of a strange noise around me. As it was not something that seemed to feel normal. As things seemed to feel strange and cold to me right now.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been like so. I then did in fact go and open my eyes, all at once. As I did in fact begin to freak out as I realized I was not in my den.
Normally I felt like I didn't want to live in that den anymore. But right now, I was not sure where I was at, and how I had got here. As I then did in fact go and speak out loud in fear, all at the exact same time too.
"MintNose?! MoonStar? Where are you?" I did in fact just seem to go and say, all of the sudden. As it was that I did in fact go and look for my mother and father.
But it didn't seem like they were anywhere to be found. As I could not scent them, nor could I see my sister anywhere. As it was that I seemed to be in a strange wooded area.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been like so. I then did in fact go and tilt my head a bit. As it was that I did in fact go and hear a voice say something from behind me.
"MoonStar is gone... You won't find him ever again... I killed him... Now I will kill you!" I did in fact just seem to hear a tom cat say to me.
As it was that it seemed to be quite a bit of an evil and a wicked voice. As I kind of shivered just as soon as I had in fact heard it. And I then turned my head on over to where it had in fact seemed to have came from.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been like so. I then did in fact see a huge tom cat right in front of me. As it was that I then began to speak out loud, as I didn't have control of what it was that I was saying.
"DustEyes?! What are you doing here?! What have you done to my father?" I did in fact just seem to say to him. As it was that I had my eyes squinted at the tom cat, all at once.
I seemed to be quite a bit angry at the tom cat. But at the same time as well, I was also scared of him. As I did in fact go and take a few steps back, all at once, at that.
The tom cat once again seemed to have an evil smile. As he then shook his head and spoke back to me. Just as soon as it had been like so.
"It is DustStar now... You should know that... And... Well, let's just say I put him underground... Somewhere where you will never find him again..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that he had said as to just what he had said. I then did in fact seem to get even more angry. As I did in fact pull out my claws, just as I also spoke back to him.
"You are lying! Tell me where my father is or I will tear open your throat!" I did in fact just seem to say. As I was quite a bit shocked by the words that had come out of my mouth.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have said that. That was when it was that his eyes also grew wide. As he did in fact also seem to be surprised by what I had just said.
However, he also seemed to be a bit excited by it too. As he then did in fact seem to just go and smile. Just as soon as it was that he did in fact go and speak back to me.
"Oh... Well, I can tell you exactly where he is at, but you'll never find him, the cave collapsed... The tunnels are gone now... He is gone forever..." He did in fact just seem to say.
As it was that I was completely lost as to just what he was talking about. As it was that I seemed to have my eyes wide for some time. However, it seemed like I somehow understood just as I spoke back to him.
"You're lying! The tunnels are a myth! They don't exist! If you killed him than tell me now! Either way, I am going to kill you!" I did in fact just seem to say to him, all at once.
As this time, as soon as it was that I had said that to him. As it was that I was so angry and filled with rage. I did in fact feel like I just wanted the tom cat dead, at that.
The tom cat did in fact once again just seem to smile. As he then did in fact shake his head. As soon as it was that I did in fact hear him speak back to me like before.
"Ask SummerStar... The tunnels are not just a myth... Your father is gone... You seem to be a brave enough cat... Perhaps you could be of use in ShadowClan!" He did in fact just seem to say, at that.
As it was that he seemed to be serious with what he had said. As he did in fact go and nod his head to me. Just as it was that he seemed to get excited by it too.
I did not like the sound of what he had said at all. As I once again did in fact shake my head back at him. Just as soon as it was that I spoke back to the tom cat, all at once.
"I would never join your evil clan! I would rather die than join you!" I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I did in fact seem to have a bit of a scared look on my face as I had said it.
The tom cat clearly was not at all pleased by what I had said. As he then did in fact squint his eyes at me this time. Just as he then took his claws out and spoke back to me.
"Than you shall die!" He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he did in fact also hiss at me. Just as it was that he had in fact said that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been like so. The last thing that I saw, was the tom cat jumping right at me. Before it was that everything did in fact grow dark.
