Chapter 11: Vote (EchoKits PoV)

I stood there, as I looked out of the den, as I tried to stay calm. As it was that I was not at all too sure as to just what I should do. As it was that I felt like the camp was so cold tonight.
It did in fact just seem to make me shiver a bit. As it was that I did in fact just seem to shake my head. Just as it was that I heard the voice of my mother speak to me, all at once.
"I would get some sleep if I were you EchoKit... The others won't be back for a very long time..." MintNose did in fact just seem to say to me.
As it was that her eyes were wide just as she had said that. As it was that she did in fact roll over in her nest. Where it was that my sister was asleep right beside her.
I could hear my sister purring as it was in fact like so. As I did in fact just seem to stay calm all at once. As it was that I did in fact let out a rough sigh just as I spoke back to her.
"But I want to stay up mother... I want to know how it went for RabbitPaw!" She did in fact just seem to say. As it was that I kept my eyes wide just as soon as I had said that.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that she blinked her eyes just a few times. As it was that she also once again spoke right back on over to me.
"He will be here in the morning... He will be just as tired as you will be if you don't sleep... I don't think he will want to tell you... Get some rest..." She did in fact just seem to say.
As it was that I did in fact hear her let out a heavy sigh. Just as soon as it was that she also squinted her eyes right back on over to me. As it was clear to me that she just wanted me to go to sleep.
As it was that I just seemed to stare for just a little bit longer. I then did in fact begin to start to go and nod my head back to her. As it was that I did in fact speak back to her as well.
"Okay... Fine..." I did in fact just seem to say, all of the sudden. As it was that I did in fact make it obvious that I didn't want to do it at all.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to lower my head to the ground. Just as soon as it was that I had in fact even said that. As it was that I also then began to head back over to my mother and my sister.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. My mother once again seemed to let out a heavy sigh just as I got close to her. As it was that I saw her roll her eyes just as she also spoke back to me.
"Some times I can't with you silly kits... You will thank me for all of this some day..." She did in fact just seem to say, all of the sudden.
As just as soon as it was that she had in fact said that. She then did in fact go and lower her head. As it was that she did in fact also go and close her eyes, all at once.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I stayed a bit further back from the both of them. As I did in fact just seem to grunt as I spoke to my self quietly, at that.
"I doubt it... I just can't wait to get out of here and live my own life..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As I did in fact kind of wince just as soon as it was that I had said that.
As it was that it sounded like I wanted to live the life of a rogue. As I knew that it was not the case what so ever. As it was that I knew that I wanted to live in the clans.
As I hoped that some day I would be a leader like my father. As it was that I did in fact just seem to close my eyes just as it was like so. As it was that I did in fact go and start to speak to my self quietly once again.
"I am happy here... I am happy..." I did in fact just seem to mumble to my self, all at once. As it was that I knew that what I had said was true.
Even as much as it was that my mother and sister might frustrate me. As it was that I did in fact just seem to go and lower my head to the ground. Just as soon as it was that I did in fact just seem to stay calm.
I heard the purrs of both my mother and my sister. As it was that they did in fact seem to be warm and cozy. As it was that I seemed to fall asleep to that, all at once.

"That was insane! I can't believe that NettleStar would do that!" I heard the voice of FlipFoot yell, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I did in fact just seem to lift my head up just as it was like so.
As it was that I was quite a bit scared and lost as to what was going on. As it was that I did in fact just seem to open my eyes. As it was that I saw the both of my mother and sister jump up in fear, at that.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact hear my sister speak. As it was clear that she was afraid just as it was like so.
"What's going on mom? Are we being attacked?!" She did in fact just seem to say, at that. As it was that I did in fact roll my eyes at my sister just as she had said that.
It was quite clear to me that we were in fact not being attacked. As it was that it just seemed to be that the camp was in fact worried. As it was that I could tell that it was the very early morning, all at once.
I was very tired, as I wished I hadn't stayed up so late. As it was that I did in fact go and lower my head to my self, all at once. Just as soon as it was that I did in fact hear the voice of my mother speak up, at that.
"No... There are no scents of other cats as far as I can tell... I just think some thing must have happened at the gathering!" She did in fact just seem to say, at that.
As it was that just as soon as it was that she had said that. That was when it was that my eyes perched up. As it was that I did in fact begin to start to get quite a bit excited.
As it was that I did in fact remember as to just what was going on. As I then did in fact begin to start to go and move. As it was that I did in fact go and start to speak up, all at the exact same time as well.
"Oh! They are?! I can't wait to hear what happened!" I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that I did in fact lift my self up just as soon as it was that I had said that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. I saw my sister move back just a little bit. As it was clear to me that she was not thinking the same way that I was.
I did in fact just seem to ignore her just as it was like so. As it was that I did in fact go and hear my mother go and speak back to me. As it was that I did in fact go and listen as to just what it was that she said.
"Your father will explain what happened if some thing happened... Give him a moment..." She did in fact just seem to say. As it was that my mother did in fact roll her eyes at me just as she had said that.
How ever, I felt like I did in fact not care what so ever. As it was that I did in fact just seem to go and move. As it was that I did in fact go and start to blink my eyes a few times, at that.
As it was that I did in fact seem to keep on moving out of the den. I then did in fact just seem to see a camp full of riled up cats. As I was a bit surprised by it just as I heard the voice of WeedWhiskers speak, at that.
"We should have known that he was going to do that... He shouldn't still be leader as it is right now... That whole clan should be gone..." She did in fact just seem to say.
As it was that I had to assume that she was speaking about ShadowClan. As it was that I knew that it was who NettleStar did in fact own. As it was that I had heard his voice brought up a few moments ago.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. That was when it was that I then did in fact begin to start to hear SilentEars speak. As he had a calm voice just as soon as it had been like so.
"Every one just calm down... I am sure that MoonStar will figure out what we need to do... Just give him a bit..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to see him nod his head. As it was that he did in fact go and look over to my father. Just as soon as it was that he had said as to just what it was that he had even said.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. I then did in fact begin to go and start to look for my self, all at once. As it was that I saw that my father was waiting a bit to go up to the high rock.
He was in fact speaking to OwlThroat as it had been like that. As it was that I did in fact get my mind off of that. Just as it was that I did in fact go and start to speak to my self, all at the exact same time too.
"RabbitPaw... Where is RabbitPaw?" I did in fact just seem to say. As it was that through all of the chaos that was going on around me.
I couldn't help but to be scared that some thing had happened to him. As it was that I did in fact just seem to gulp just as it was like so. As it was that I did in fact eventually see him safe in the corner, at that.
He was in fact talking to his mentor just as soon as it was like so. As it was that I did in fact go and start to nod my head to my self. Just as it was that I did in fact go and head over to him, all at the exact same time too.
Just as it was that I did in fact seem to get close to them both. I then did in fact hear the voice of FlameClaw, just as he spoke to my friend. As it was that I did in fact go and listen as to just what he had to say, at that.
"I know that you are tired... You just need to stay up a little bit longer so that you can figure out what we are going to do next..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at once.
As it was that he had his eyes wide just as he spoke to RabbitPaw. As it was that I was quite a bit lost as to just what he had meant. As it was that I did in fact just seem to shiver just as soon as it was like so.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. I then did in fact begin to start to hear my friend speak back to him. Just as soon as it was that I did in fact draw closer.
"Yes FlameClaw..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As it was that he did in fact lower his head to the ground just as it was like so.
It was clear that he just wanted to go and get some sleep. As it was that I kind of felt a bit tired my self. But I felt like I was too excited for me to want to go back to bed.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to go closer to them both. I then did in fact go and stop, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I did in fact begin to start to go and speak back to them my self, at that.
"What happened? Is every thing okay?" I did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too. As it was that my heart did in fact seem to be pumping fast just as I had said that.
As it was that I did in fact seem to be worried for my friend. As I had not seen him in this kind of state ever before, at all. As it was that he did in fact just seem to look at me just as soon as I had said that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact been the case. I then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of FlameClaw go and speak. As it was that I turned my head on over to him just as soon as it was like so.
"Don't worry EchoKit... Every thing is just fine... Your father will explain it-" He did in fact just seem to start to say, all of the sudden.
Before it was that he was cut off by RabbitPaw. As it was that I then did in fact go and turn my head back to my friend. As it was that I did in fact lose interest in FlameClaw right away as it was like so.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. I then did in fact just seem to go and smile. As it was that I saw his face light up just as soon as it was that he spoke to me.
"NettleStar! He mated with the ThunderClan leader! He is going to leave ShadowClan!" He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that he had said as to just what he had said. That was when it was that my eyes grew wide in shock. As it was that I did in fact just seem to be a bit confused.
I knew that it was in fact against the Warrior Code to mate with another cat in another clan. As it was the first thing I had been taught when I was in fact very young. As it was that I did in fact go and start to speak back to him all of the sudden.
"What?! What are they going to do both of them? Are they still going to be the leader since they broke the code?" I did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to jump up and down. As it was that I did in fact not know that the gatherings could be so exciting. As it was that I did in fact just seem to start to go and nod to my self.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact been like so. FlameClaw did in fact let out a rough sigh as it was like so. As he rolled his eyes just as it was that muttered back to us both.
"So much for that then..." He did in fact just seem to say, all of the sudden. As it was that he did in fact begin to start to walk away. Just as soon as it was that he had in fact said that.
I did in fact just seem to ignore the tom cat as it was like so. As it was that I did in fact just seem to go and move. As it was that I did in fact just seem to blink my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time too.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. I then did in fact begin to start to blink my eyes. As it was that RabbitPaw then did in fact go and speak back to me.
"I have no idea EchoKit... All I know is that he is leaving the clan and they are getting a new leader... I think SummerStar is fine... She's just really upset..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at once.
As it was that he had in fact said as to just what he had said. That was when it was that I then did in fact just seem to nod my self. As it was that I did in fact under stand as to just why it was in fact like so.
As it was that I did in fact know that SummerStar had kits a few moons before me and my sister were born. As I was sure that she did in fact want her mate with her badly. As it was that I did in fact go and nod to my self just as I spoke back to him.
"Good... I think ShadowClan needs a new leader... Who is going to be the next leader? DustEyes?" I did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time as well.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to shiver as it was like so. As it was that I did in fact begin to worry as to all the stories I had been told. Of all of the stuff that the evil tom cat had in fact done, at that.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. I then did in fact get my mind and my focus off of all of that stuff. As it was that I did in fact begin to hear him speak right back on over to me, at that.
"I don't know... I sure hope not!" He did in fact just seem to say. As it was that he also seemed to shiver in fear just as soon as he had said that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been the case. I then did in fact begin to start to go and hear the voice of my father. As it was that he now did in fact seem to be on the high rock speaking to the clan.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact been like so. I then did in fact go and turn my head right on over to him. As it was that I did in fact go and listen as to what it was that he did in fact have to say, at that.
"Cats of Windclan... I need you all to come together in this early morning... I need to explain the gathering to those who were not there..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time as well.
As it was that he did in fact nod his head just as he had said that. As just as soon as it was that it had in fact been like so. I then did in fact begin to start to go and move on ahead to see what was going on.
I saw from the corner of my eyes my mother and my sister. As it was that they did in fact head out of the queens den, all at once. As it was that they did in fact head over my way just as I spoke to my self quietly.
"Oh great..." I did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As I was a bit worried if I had done some thing wrong. As I was lost as to just why they were going over to me.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. I then did in fact begin to start to go and move. As it was that I did in fact go and start to hear my father speak up just as soon as it was in fact like so.
"NettleStar... The leader of ShadowClan as you all know... He has mated with the leader of ThunderClan..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time as well.
As it was that he did in fact repeat as to just what RabbitPaw had in fact told me, at that. As it was that I heard a few shocked cats seem to speak to one another, at that. As it was that my father gave them a few moments to take it all in.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been like that. That was when it was that I did in fact begin to start to hear ShiloWing speak. As it was that she did in fact seem to hiss just as soon as it was like so.
"Great... So is there going to be another war between the clans now that they are back together?" She did in fact just seem to say. As she had a concerned look on her face just as soon as she had said that.
Just as soon as it was that it had in fact just been like so. I then did in fact feel like she had a very fair point. As it was that I did in fact start to get excited about the thought of going in to battle, at that.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to close my eyes and think on that. That was when it was that my father once again began to speak. As it was that I then did in fact go and listen as to just what he had to say.
"No... At least I hope not... NettleStar has agreed to give up his role as leader to join his mate in ThunderClan..." He did in fact just seem to say, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that there was another wave of gasps. Just as soon as it was that he had in fact just said that. As it was that I did in fact seem to feel a bit more calm as it was like so.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. That was when it was that I did in fact hear the voice of StallionFoot go and speak. As I then did in fact go and listen as to just what she had to say, at that.
"And DustEyes will take over as leader then?" She did in fact just seem to say, all at once. As the she cat then did in fact also seem to be worried just like ShiloWing, at that.
As it was that it had in fact just seemed to have been the case. I then did in fact seem to see my father shake his head luckily. As it was that he then did in fact go and speak back to her, all at the exact same time too.
"No... NettleStar said he will let his clan choose who will be the next leader... They will have a vote..."
