A year later...

✨ The Sangeet + Mehendi ✨

The venue, Raghav and Haya's new house was adorned with vibrant colours, with drapes and flower arrangements adding to the festive ambience.

While it was almost decided that the functions would be held separately with both the families, Adi created a huge chaos about not missing his only brother's and best friend’s wedding function at any cost and in the end the venue was decided to be their new house.

The backyard was divided into two different sections for both of them, while seating arrangements were made for guests to enjoy.

Kabir was busy testing the dessert while Haya and Adi grooved on desi girl playing loudly in the background.

The brand new kurta he wore was missing all the buttons, two empty bottles lying somewhere in the house that he and Samar emptied in a competition.

"Muh band kar apna," Samar said, closing Raghav's mouth who was awestruck looking at his almost-wife.
(Close your mouth.)

Haya looked at Samar touching Raghav and almost missed a step, almost two years after the incident and she still didn't trust drunk Samar around Raghav even if Veera was with him.

Samar gave him a shot glass of vodka, "I sneaked this in for you."

"I don't drink." Raghav kept it under the chair he was sitting on, "And stop drinking before I lock you in a room."

"Lock Veera with me," Samar replied, looking at Veera in the distance, standing with Naina as they recorded silly little videos of Adi and Haya.

The choreographer stood in a corner, disappointed at the best friends who did everything but the steps she taught them, lost in their own rhythm, the wide smiles on their faces ever since the festivities began.

She got off the little stage the moment everyone stepped on it, wrapping her arms around Raghav's neck as she smiled.

"Kaisa laga mera performance?" She asked.
(How was my performance?)

"I couldn't take my eyes off of you." He replied, "My desi girl."

Haya looked around, watching her mother and her mother-in-law busy dancing with Adi, she placed a sloppy kiss on Raghav's cheek due to her lack of heels, and he bent down so she could do whatever she wanted to.

She joined her forehead with his, "You'll be my husband tomorrow." She smiled.

"I am dying to call you my wife." He replied, making her take a seat with him as her mother started dancing.

"Noooo." Haya mumbled, not wanting to cry as her mother and her maasi danced on maahi ve, the female part bringing tears to her eyes.

Raghav wrapped an arm around her, as her mother got too emotional while dancing, her father walked closer to them, comforting her.

"Haya, come get your mehndi done, it's getting late, you've to sleep too." Haya turned to look at her cousin, slowly removing her hands from Raghav.
