Bella's P.O.V.
"We can't be together, it's bad for both of us. It's better this way!" Edward said, before turning away and disappearing with the blink of an eye.
I doubled over with pain. Why was he doing this? Why was he leaving me? What had I done wrong?
I collected myself as best I could and staggered through the woods towards home. His whole family would leave now. They were probably already pulling out of Forks. I knew they'd be gone for good, but I can't help but hope they'll come back one day.
I slowly made my way home. As I walk, I can't help but think the entire world must hate me. I felt like the whole world was going to crash and burn without them in it.
I stumbled weakly through my front door. My entire body felt like it was burning, as if I'd suddenly been lit by a match.
