Bella's P.O.V.
"Come on Kate please, lets go. We're going to be late for the food place thingy you made a reservation at.''
"What's the point if I can't eat what I want to eat?''
"God Kate you're going to be the death of me some day," I hope she knows this. "Anyway we will have lots of fun later and you will get to eat what you want," I said with a wink.
"Well when you put it like that babe we could....." she trailed off with a seductive smile and a tug towards the bedroom.
The ring of a cell phone interrupted our conversation.
"Kate I'm sorry to disturb you too love birds but we—" Rosalie blurted.
"What's wrong with Rose? What's happening?" Kate asked, interrupting.
"The Volturi, they claim Bella is human! They won't listen to us! They want you back here to prove your innocence!" She spat out quickly, her voice fearful.
"The flight doesn't take off till next week. How on earth are we going to get back in time, run there?" Kate asked, irritated.
"Don't worry about that. Carlisle is sorting it out. Trust me, you and Bella need to be home soon and when you get here Bella needs to show who she really is."
"Okay, we'll get ready to leave. Let's hope no death follows our arrival."
"See you soon," Rosalie says, somberly.
"If you don't get her to come here we will go to her," one of the Volturi standing around the Cullen's living room said.
"Rest assured they are on their way as we speak. I only ask that you let Emmett go, he was just protecting the family. He thought you were intruders,'' Carlisle pleaded.
"Very well.''
"Thank you Sam thank you loads! I will forever be in debt!" Bella said, before hanging up the phone.
"Kate, it's sorted now. Sam gave me permission to tell them and he's gonna go to the house and see if they're okay.''
"Okay, time to go.''
Getting into the plane was hell. I just kept thinking why was this happening now. We were finally having fun for once and getting to just relax and be ourselves. Of course the Volturi just has to go ahead and mess it all up.
I kept thinking that when we got back they would all be dead. Kate and I rang them multiple times but couldn't get through.
