Bella's P.O.V.

I pulled into my normal parking spot at school, and although I try my hardest, I can't help glancing in my rear view. Of course their car isn't there. I knew it wouldn't be, they're gone. They'll probably never be back. Even though I'm glad he's gone, it doesn't mean I don't miss them. Suddenly thoughts of them swarmed me and I was so busy trying to push them away, I didn't hear the first bell ring.

''Hey Bella. Bella?''

I turn towards the sound of my name, ''Hmm, sorry I got lost for a moment there," I answered, with a tense chuckle as I climbed out of my car.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Angela offered sweetly.

"No, nothing to talk about. I'm good," I smiled awkwardly, and headed in the direction of our first class.

I tried to pushed away all stray thoughts and focus on my school work through out the day, but it was not easy. I was extremely relieved when the final bell rang and I made a beeline for the parking lot.

The whole group was standing beside my car waiting on me when I got outside. They were all talking about going to La Push after school.

I quickly decided to go along. I could use some fun, and I didn't want anyone to think I was going to wallow in self pity. They all acted kinda surprised when I told them I'd join them at the beach. I decided to call Jacob later and see if he wanted to meet us there.

Thinking about how thrilled Jacob would be to hangout put me in a somewhat decent mood. Unfortunately, it was quickly shattered when my friends started discussing the one thing I really wanted to avoid. Me and Edward. They tried to get me to join in the awkward conversation but I immediately shut it down.

"We broke up, he left town. I don't wanna talk about it. End of subject," I said, shortly.

They seemed to get the picture because Angela changed the subject back to La Push. I mentally thanked her.

Bella came outside and talked to Angela and Jess about going to La Push. They decided they'd meet up at five.

"Bella, you're driving us."

"Jess, you can't force her," Angela said.

"Actually Angela, I want to know about her and Eddie boy," Jessica said, with a mischievous giggle.

"I will drive you guys there and back on one condition. Edward isn't mentioned," Bella groaned, this was going to be a long day.

Bella called Jacob on the way home.

"Hey Bella!" Jacob said, voice full of excitement.

"Hey Jake, I was wondering if you wanted to meet up with my friends at La Push later?"

"Yeah that sounds great! I'll bring some of the guys with me," he eagerly agreed.

We chit chatted a few more minutes before hanging up. A few minutes later Bella pulled into her driveway.

While Bella waited for Charlie to get home, she started on homework and dinner.

"Smells good Bells," Charlie said, as he walked into the kitchen with a smile.

"Thanks," Bella responded, sitting a plate of grilled cheese and fries down on the table.

"You, ok?" He asked, squirting some ketchup on his plate.

He must've noticed her bad demeanour.

Bella's P.O.V.

"Dad, I want to tell you something about me and Edward. That I just thought you should know," I started, worried.

"Ok, what is it?" He asked, voice full concern.

"Edward dumped me in a forest and left," I clenched my jaw.

"What when did this happen?'' Dad screamed, "I'm gonna to kill that boy!"

"Dad he's gone, I'm not going to wallow in it," I said bravely.

Suddenly we were interrupted by the door bell.

"I'll get the door, you calm down. Oh and I was wondering if I can go to La Push in a little bit.''

"Yeah, of course. Who are you going with?"

"Friends from school," I replied.

I headed for the door, but I wasn't prepared for who was on the other side.
