Kate's P.O.V.

"Are you okay?'' I asked her.

"Yes I'm fine. Just need dickward to understand that Jasper did nothing wrong. He can feel everyone's bloodlust all day everyday.''

"Bella you are mine even if you are a wolf. I love you I have always loved you, your mine not hers," Edward butted in.

"No Edward, I imprinted on Kate. I'm hers."

Awe I love when she tells people that she's mine and I'm hers.

"I'll get you Kate, She's mine,'' he said, then on the blink of an eye he was gone.

Bella P.O.V.

Well another day in this shit hole called school. Well guess what dickward did, got Kate fired! I wasn't even in the building properly before I was told that she'd been fired. I guess it's time for some payback. I wonder what I should do.

I sat down next to Alice in art class, she was talking to some of her friends about shopping. When she saw me she ended the conversation to ask me about Kate.

"Hey Bella. How are you taking Kate getting fired? Is she okay?"

"I don't know, I haven't heard any of the details. Just that she got fired, and I haven't gotten to talk to her about it at all. What happened?''

"Edward he..." she stopped when the teacher walked in. "I'll tell you later."

Of course it had something to do with him. I hope Kate's okay.

"Hey dad I'm home"

"Oh, Bella, Bella, Bella.''

Who the fudge is that.

I ran to the kitchen to find dad passed out on the floor.

"Dad wake up! DAD!"

"Oh Bella, you're going to die tonight but first you're going to watch your dad die."

"Who are you? Why are you doing this?''

"Because you killed James.''

Shit, its Victoria! I need to call Kate! I pulled my phone out of my pocket.

"You can't call anyone. That's not part of the game," she said, knocking the phone out of my hand so fast I never even saw her.

Well, neither is this bitch. I shifted.

"Jake, I might need the pack and Emmett it's Victoria!''

"On way Bella."

Victoria shot out of the living room. She charged right at me. I met her half way. I snapped my teeth at any piece of skin I could get at. Suddenly, I was on the floor being squeezed to death. I know I'm not making it through this without help. I was big but I'd never fought anyone before. I had no real idea what I was doing. I was just going off instinct. She'd been around a long time and was obviously trained to kill and full of hatred. I growled deep in my throat and struggled as hard as I could. My claws gouged deep crevices into the floor.

"You're not gonna win Bella! You're going to die!''

No matter how hard I struggled I couldn't get her off, all I was doing was barely keeping her from breaking my ribs. She was right, I was going to die. I thought of my Dad lying on the floor, I couldn't help him, and I thought of Kate.

The front door flew open! I turned my head and looked back over my shoulder. Standing in the door way was Emmett! She let go of me as he charged her. I whipped around and bit into her shoulder. I was aiming for her neck but the shoulder would do. Emmett was there in a flash ripping her head off.

"Yes! Emmett kill the bitch!"

He took her head outside, started a fire in our fire pit, and tossed her head in. He came back inside and reached for her arm.

"No, not in the kitchen!"

I drug what was left of her outside, he continued ripping her apart piece by piece and throwing the pieces in the fire. When we were finished I shifted back.

"Are you okay?''

"Thanks Emmett, God I could kiss you right now!"

"Yeah, no thanks Belliebear,'' only Emmett with the names just after a fight.

"Fair enough, can u get my dad to Carlisle please.''

"Sure, are you sure you're okay?''

"Yeah, I'm good. My ribs might be a little bruised but I'm fine. Thanks to you."

"No problem," he said, walking too the kitchen. He picked my dad up and went back through the front door. I went to sort out the mess in the kitchen.

"Bella, Bella, it's Kate wer.. oh there you are, are you okay?''

"Yeah, I'm good thanks to Emmett.''

"Thank God he got here in time!''

"God I could kiss you all day! I thought I might never see you again!"

"Oh you could, could you?''

"Absolutely," I said, smiling from ear to ear.

"Well, let's get some kisses shall we?''

"Hell yeah."

The kitchen was clearly forgotten about.

"Wait," I pulled back, "I almost forgot! Why did you get fired today?"

"Apparently I was too strict with the students. Edward told the Principal I tried to smack a student for being late."

"What the fuck! What rubbish! I'm gonna kill em!"

"We'll have time for that later, right now let's get this kitchen cleaned up okay?"

Just then my phone rang, it was Carlisle.

"Hello?"

"Hey, I just wanted to let you know you're Dad's fine, just a bump on the head."

"Okay, thank you," I said relieved.

"Any time," he said, before hanging up.
