Bella's P.O.V.
I turned to look at Kate. Suddenly it seemed that my entire world was her. She was the sun I rotated around. She was everything. I mentally staggered for a moment, where had this come from?
"Kate, I'm gonna go for a run to clear my head. It seems to be a little fuzzy at the moment."
"Okay, can I watch?" she asked, her tone sounded as if she would be blushing if she were human.
"Ya sure?'' I honestly didn't know why she wanted to watch but I let her because she hadn't seen me in wolf form yet. And, I didn't wanna say no to her.
As soon as we were outside, I quickly pulled off my clothes. I glance over at Kate shyly. The way she was looking at me gave me a sudden burst of confidence, let's tease her a bit.
"Kate, can I have a hug please. I'm feeling a bit too warm,'' I give her a cheeky smile.
".... Okay," she answered, looking a little flustered.
To be honest with you I actually broke a vampire, and honestly, I'm loving every tiny bit of it.
I thought about all the people I hated and why I hated them. It filled me with rage and helped me shift. I'm never going to get used to that. I was going to shout to Kate, but a growl came out. Hurt crossed her face, I'm going to have to fix that.
I wine and lower myself to my belly slowly crawls across the ground towards my mate. Once I am near her, I slowly rub my head on her hand to say sorry.
"Bella, why have you phased?" Sam voice floats into my head
"Something happened tonight, and I don't know why or what."
"Show me by thinking about it Bells.''
Oh my God is that dad.
"Yes, it is.''
"Hey Dad, totally not weird at all."
I think back to what happened in my room with Kate. How my feelings had suddenly changed so dramatically and how confusing it all was.
"Well, what does it mean?'' I asked him.
I can feel anger boiling in the link.
"It means you imprinted on the bloodsucker,'' I think it was Jake.
"Jake, be nice or your running night patrol for a month,'' Sam shouts at him. "You know it's not something she has control over!"
"Yeah, sorry Bella,'' Jake apologised.
"Honestly, I thought you were Jake's mate at first, but I can clearly see I was wrong."
"Umm, yeah, me and Jake were only friends, nothing more Sam. Um, Dad, before you left the house earlier, what was that wink for?"
"I don't know what you're talking about Bells.''
"Ya okay. Bye, talk later.''
I started to phase back. It seems the more I do it the easier it gets. I turn towards Kate frowning when I see she has moved away.
''Hey, are you okay? Why did you move?'' she shakes her head whilst watching me. "Because you were growling, I thought you hated me.''
That made me frown harder as I didn't want to make her upset or think that I hate her. She's basically my wife at this point.
"No Kate, I love you.''
"I love you too Bella.''
We stood there looking deeply into each other's eyes smiling for a minute. Then I walked over, grabbed her hand and led her back inside. I explained to her I'd imprinted. It seemed to make her happy. She smiled and asked questions about it.
Kate's P.O.V.
I was listening to Bella explain imprinting. Apparently she'd imprinted on me, and now she could never leave me for anyone else. I just smiled happily, and listened. Until my phone rang.
"Do you mind if I answer this?" I asked her.
"No, it's fine," she said.
I walked off from her and answered the still ringing phone. "Hey, what's up? Everything okay?"
"Hey, Kate. I wanted to let you know that Victoria is in forks. You need to be careful and keep a very close eye on Bella," Alice responded.
"Okay, is that all? I'm with her right now."
"I know you are, but no. Edward wants us to come back. He says he misses her and wants her back," she said, hesitantly.
"Well, he can try but it's not going to happen. She's a wolf and she imprinted on me... and she's my true mate," I responded, trying to keep anger out of her voice.
"I know. I've seen it. Will you tell Bella that Jasper, Rose, Emmett, and I didn't want to leave? When we come back in two days we will explain everything. I have to go, Edward is snooping around bye."
"Bye Ali...," the call ended, cutting me off.
I walked back over to Bella sliding the phone in my back pocket.
"Hey Bella, um...," I played with her hair as a distraction. "Victoriaisinforksandthecullenswillbehereintwodays," I blurted incoherently.
"Okay, wait. What? Slow down silly. I heard the call, okay. I'm not mad at those four, but I do hate Carlisle, Esme, and him. But, please can we get off that topic and just relax please?''
Oh god here comes puppy eyes on the count of three. Three, two, one, awe she looks so adorable.
"Okay, let's relax,'' I said, as I gave in to her so easily.
