I sighed to myself while unlocking my old phone. I never had a brand new type of it, it would be too dangerous for my job. Right now I owned an old LG that was pretty convenient for all the messages and additionally, it was uneasy to be tracked. It had an email on the screen from my boss. I rolled my eyes and started reading.
"Beloved Megan, it's high time to do it again. You haven't been in action for a very long time," I felt my heart dropping in my pants. I haven't been to work in last three months, my boss was right. But everytime I had to start a new mission it was harder for me to do it.
"This mission is a bit different as it involves 4 famous guys. They're aged from 18 to 20, coming from a group called 5 Seconds of Summer. I think you've heard for them already. Expect additional information in an hour or two. You have one month to do it, starting soon. See you around."
I inhaled and sat down. I've never been involved in a job which included famous people. And not only that I had to do it to one human being, I had to do it to 4. Looking down at my arms I had goose bumps all over them. My dark hair was standing up and I nervously started scratching my wrist. It was a very bad habit of mine and all this stress was a very known thing actually.
I reached for my old computer and turned it on. During it getting ready I grabbed a bite from my fridge although it didn't contain much. I had no money to pay for my scolarship, rent and have a full fridge. That's the only reason I had decided to take this job. A shitty job but someone had to do it. I bit into my Snickers and a huge smile came on my face when I started feeling the chocolate melting in my mouth. I was quickly chewing while typing 5 Seconds of Summer in Google what was another bad habit of mine. As my work had to be done quickly, everything had to be done it that way in my life. I ate fast food often, I never walked slowly, I talked quickly, took showers quickly and I ended all my relationships after really short periods of time. I couldn't let people adjusting to me, not even getting keen on me.
Suddenly my crappy laptop decided to work and I started observing guys' photos. There was a curly headed guy with a huge smile and some muscles on his body. His name was Ashton Irwin, he had 20 years and was supposed to be the oldest. I smirked at his smile and moved my eyes to an Asian guy, who looked quite reserved. The dark haired Asian guy was called Calum Hood and had turned 19 earlier that year. I also found out he wasn't Asian but it wasn't really the information I cared about. I only needed names and things that would get me closer to them. Another dark, if not black, haired guy was Michael Clifford for whom Google claimed that was 19. I also saw plenty of his pics where his hair wasn't exactly black. So he was the crazy one in the group since the fourth guy had normal blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. He seemed to be the tallest and the group's lead singer. I admitted myself he was hella good looking yet again, this wasn't the thing that I needed.
Half an hour of learning about 5SOS later my LG beeped due to another email. It was my boss again, sending me additional information about my mission. This time I opened it on my computer and looking at the person that had ordered it sent shivers down my spine. I skipped the list with the reasons for my job and went straight to my boss' part of the email.
"I know you've checked the guys on your own already so I'm not sending you the basic info. Your budget is 30.000$, you're getting paid after finishing your job," I reread the number as it was enormous. I was used to getting 5,000$ for my budget and around 15,000$ when the work was done but again, these guys were famous and this person obviously had access to their bank accounts. The budget was usually meant for my work to be done. It covered all the costs I had and it was an insurance for the person, who ordered me to do it, not to be told. I grabbed another Snickers from my fridge and continued reading.
"You start doing your job next Thursday when guys are coming back to Sydney. They will be having their last show and arranging your meeting with them is completely up to you. It shouldn't be too hard with this budget." I nodded to the screen. My boss was right, the budget was huge and it should cover all the costs.
"Let me know about every step you do. You have to do it in a month. Trust me, getting to a famous person isn't that easy. They're cautious and with the limited time you have I suggest you to skip school for a while. See you tomorrow in the gym. Get yourself ready." I rolled my eyes. Sure thing he would bring the gym up. My boss was a famous trainer whose additional job was to arrange missions for losers like me. We were training quite often together but simply because he got me ready for my work.
I had a very uncomfortable work to do, agreed. I looked at the photos of the guys. I read my assignment once again.
"A bunch of teenargers?" I thought to myself. "No way this will be hard."
But on the other hand killing people was always hard. Specially if they were young.

A/N
This is the first time I've ever tried writing a fanfiction. I've nearly three months of holidays in front of me and this is why I decided to write one. I hope my idea isn't repeated anywhere else and I'm truly sorry if it is :(
Also I'm asking you to respect my typos and errors, English isn't my mother language although it'd be cool if it was.
Hope you like the prologue!! :) x
