Chapter 14

I woke up wrapped in Luke's arms what was the most comfortable position I could ever imagine. Our bodies were still sweaty but I didn't really care. Just being held by someone you loved was incredible. Luke's leg was on me, squeezing me into his hug. His chest was touching my back and his face was resting on my back.

"Wake up Lucas," I groaned, trying to rescue myself from his arms. I felt him opening his eyes and one of his arms slided down to my tummy. "I have to pee," I finally said, hoping he'd let me go.

"5 more minutes," he whispered his voice raspy. I giggled and tried to turn around.

"Let me turn around Luke," I said softly and he loosened his grip. I turned myself seeing his beautiful face. His eyes were closed and his mouth was a bit split. I stroked his cheek giving him a small peck on the tip of his nose.

"I love you," he mumbled not even trying to open his eyes. My smell was usually really sensitive but I wasn't bothered by Luke's morning breath. I thought it was kind of hot combined with his raspy voice and messy hair.

"I love you too," I usually thought saying something like that was hard. I was never good at expressing my feelings but Luke made it so different. It was easy to say the things you truly felt.

"You do?" he asked, opening one of his piercing blue eyes. He then licked his lips before colliding them with mine. Our kiss was slow, I wasn't used to such kisses with Luke.

"I do," I stroked his chin and slowly moved my palm to his collarbone. "From the bottom of my heart."

He gave me his huge smile while his palms were cupping my face. I let out a tiny laugh trying to pull away from him.

"Where are you going?"

"I'll take a shower Lucas, I'm all sweaty and disgusting," I explained, kissing his nose again. He furrowed his blonde eyebrows and kissed my chin. His lips started moving down to my collarbone his tongue making circles in between.

"You're not disgusting," he gave me a serious look but let me go anyway. "By the way, your ass is so damn hot," he giggled at his comment, slapping it before I left the room.

"So you're telling me you only have a mum and a sister?" Ashton asked while driving to my family's house. The whole group insisted on visiting my family and surprising my mum. I nodded looking straight to the road. I wasn't comfortable with them doing that and I only had four days left with them.

In the past few days I met all the guys' families, clipping with them immediately. Knowing I'd be the one to disappoint them made me teary every time I thought about that. That's why I changed my plan again - I started ignoring Jack and told Marc I was getting some threats. Now every single one of the guys had a personal bodyguard and so did I. I was no longer an employee, I was the 5th member of 5 Seconds of Summer.

Sure thing I received plenty of messages from Jack, telling me he'd kill me if I didn't finish my mission but I had less than 96 hours with my second family and I surely wasn't giving them away.

"I'm so nervous," I heard Luke explaining to Calum. I felt him, it was the same with me before meeting his family. They didn't have a clue me and Luke were dating but somehow Jack, Luke's brother, caught us kissing. He didn't stay quiet so suddenly everyone knew. Michael and Ashton were sad for not knowing about us before while Calum accepted it well. He wished us all the best luck. If only he knew...

"To the left Ash," I ordered him and he turned that way. The neighbourhood I lived in was nothing special. The houses were quite small but it was a nice one. It wasn't dangerous as well but we still had 5 bodyguards with us. Marc didn't want to take a risk and neither did I.

"Do you see the white house over there? It's my family's," I showed him a distant house and he drove there. Luke clapped happily stepping out before the car even stopped completely.

"Calm down," I giggled when he opened the door for me. I took his hand in mine, squeezing it tightly.

"Megan, you're back home!" my mum's voice filled my brain. I turned around to see her running towards me, pulling me away from Luke. "I've missed you so much baby!" she exclaimed, some tears rolling down her face. She'd lost weight recently what worried me about her. Her hair became grey and she didn't wear any makeup. That was so unusual for her but even seeing her in that condition gave you a proof how stunning she had been when she'd been young. Her black eyes were shining and her hair was still a bit curled unlike mine. She was tall and her skin was a bit tanned. 

"Missed you as well mum," I whispered inhaling her familiar smell. It was a vanilla perfume we both wore, I mostly did it because it reminded me of her.

"Hiiiiiii!" I heard Ashton screaming excitedly. He pulled us both in a hug, making my mum tense.

"This is Ashton, he's the drummer of a band I'm currently working with," I explained her just when Ashton let us go. She took a look at him wearing black shorts and black tank top. His hair was made in a bun and he was wearing glasses still.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Vasilissa," she shook hands with him, smiling politely.

"Vasilissa? That sounds Russian!" Michael commented making us both a bit uncomfortable. I managed to pull myself together quickly to introduce the others.

"This one is Michael, he's a guitarist. He seems to be rude but he's a butter heart," I watched them shaking hands and let out a smile. "This is Calum," I represented him as well.

"Oh, an Asian one!" my mum said while receiving a hug from him. We all laughed at her comment, I did it because it reminded me of my reaction.

"And this is my boyfriend, Luke," I pointed at Luke, who was just awkwardly standing there, one feet placed on the other one. He looked so incredibly cute when he streched his arm to shake hands with mum but she pulled him in a hug.

"Hello Luke, Megan hasn't had a boyfriend in a very long time," she said, observing every single part of his body. I couldn't help myself so I did the same. My eyes flicked over his long legs in black skinny jeans, black boots and his black T-shirt was revealing his muscular torso. "You seem like a nice catch," she decided while I still had my eyes on Luke.

"Nice to meet you, miss Hall," he shyly said and stepped by my side. He bent down probably to hug me.

"I'd love to gaze at you when you're naked Megan," I gave him a surprised look but he returned an innocent smile, grabbing my shoulder and taking the way inside my mum's house.
