From the looks on his face, he was definitely not expecting that. The easy conversation and Bangchan's infectious laughter made the ride feel short.
We arrived at Bangchan's house, and I went straight to Mrs. Bang, giving her a back hug. She smiled warmly and told me to go to the room and freshen up because lunch was ready. As I made my way to the room I had woken up in earlier that day, Bangchan called after me and handed me a hoodie and shorts to change into.
I changed into the comfortable clothes and went downstairs to join them for lunch. The meal was delicious, and the atmosphere was filled with light-hearted chatter. While eating, I received a bunch of text messages, and Mrs. Bang mentioned she had to go out to buy something. Curious, I headed back to my room and opened my phone to see who had been messaging me.
