This fic isn't meant to be taken too seriously. It's a silly crackfic kinda idea. So :)

Also! YES, the chapter's title IS a reference to Gilmore Girls! How did you guess?

CW///Gayness in the rain, sexual humor

Sunny's fingers were laced with Basil's, and he stared at the television, trying to think.

Now that he had a boyfriend...what does he do for said boyfriend?

All those articles he read online did nothing for this. He could woo the most deadly of souls, but what does he do after they'd been wooed?

...

A date, perhaps. Yeah, a date!

Sunny was about to suggest the idea to Basil, but he was watching intently as the episode of Law & Order played on the screen.

...

The way Basil was hyperfixating was...really cute, if Sunny were to be honest. The way his eyes lit up and his lips parted slightly, as if he was completely shocked by everything, despite having seen this episode several times over...it was completely and utterly endearing.

Sunny squeezed Basil's hand.

"H-Huh? Oh!" Basil forced his eyes from the screen. "Sunny! What is it?"

Sunny immediately got lost in Basil's eyes. How dare he be this pretty??

"Sunny?"

Sunny snapped out of it, shaking his head wildly before closing his eyes and mumbling. "What do couples do?"

Basil blinked. "Um...they go on dates, I think. Oh, and hold hands! And...k-kiss..." Basil's cheeks turned bright red, and Sunny wasn't in a much better position.

"Um, okay. We can try going on that date." Sunny twiddled his thumbs, trying to think. "Is there anywhere you want to go?"

"Oh, I'm happy with anything," Basil smiled. "Just sitting here with you is enough for me."

Sunny shook his head. He couldn't just do something like sit around. Basil deserved the very best from him.

Now...what would be fun?

Definitely not a place with a ton of people. Thanks to both of them being introverts, they would both be dead by the end of the day. That eliminates quite a few options. The movies, which had a lot of people but nobody would really talk to them? No, that was too cheesy. A dinner date? No, seems too formal for Basil. A picnic? No, that's no good either—they went on picnics every time Mari was home. It was more of Mari and Hero's date thing.

Sunny snapped his fingers. Yes, that's it! It is the perfect idea for Basil's first date with him.

"Sunny?"

Sunny jumped up and ran upstairs, immediately gagging at the sight of Hero on top of his sister, kissing her passionately as her hands tangled in his hair. At least they were fully clothed.

"Ew," Sunny muttered, and he struggled not to laugh when he saw the two oldest rip away from each other, panting and blushing heavily.

"H-Hey!" Hero greeted breathlessly with a wave.

"S-Sunny! Didn't you see our sign!?" Mari scolded, trying to fix her shirt, which had "accidentally" moved up in hers and Hero's...fun. "What do you want!?"

"I need someone to drive Basil and I around as we go on a date," Sunny said.

Mari looked like she could kill him.
