Bella's POV:

While sleeping, I rolled onto my side, unaware that the bed abruptly ended, resulting in a sudden fall with a loud thud. Yep, that definitely hurt. I massaged my back, rose from the floor, settled onto the bed, and stretched my arms.

"What a pleasant morning," Bella sarcastically remarked, clearly irritated.

It was then that the memories of last night came flooding back. Daniel was the first person who had ever been able to handle my panic attacks and help me find calmness.

"Well, he was the one who initially caused it."

Daniel's POV:

"I have a meeting to attend. I'll be back by dinner. Make sure Bella gets her meals," Daniel ordered.

"The meals will be served promptly, sir. Is there anything else I can assist you with?" the maid asks politely.

"No," Daniel replies, before heading off to the meeting.

Bella's POV:

I turn around when I hear the door unlock and open, only to find a maid entering with a tray of food.

"I'm not hungry," Bella stated sternly, turning her back.

The maid placed the tray on the side table and remarked, "That's what sir ordered," before departing.

"Everyone in here is getting on my nerves," Bella comments, clearly irritated.

The tray remained untouched, and now it was time for lunch. The maid entered again, noticing the breakfast still untouched. She replaced it with the lunch and said, "It would be better if you ate your lunch, or sir would be displeased."

"As if I care?" Bella replies.

"As you wish." She comments before leaving. Bella remains stubborn, ignoring the maid's words and the tray of food.

--------------Dinner time----------------

Daniel's POV:

As I entered the mansion, I sat at the dining table. The maids served me dinner, and I inquired, "Did Bella eat?"

"No, sir. We provided her with breakfast, but she didn't eat it. Later, we offered her lunch, which she also didn't eat. Now, I'm about to deliver her dinner," the maid stated.

"Alright, hand over her dinner to me," Daniel demanded.

I took the keys and unlocked the door, then saw Bella walking towards the bed, presumably to sleep.

"What do you think you're doing?" Daniel asked.

"Probably sleeping, if those eyes of yours work," Bella replied sarcastically.

Daniel stood by the door, his expression a mix of frustration and determination. "Bella, you need to eat," he stated firmly, his tone brooking no argument.

Bella, seated on the edge of the bed, glared at him, her arms crossed defensively. "I'm not hungry," she retorted, her voice edged with irritation.

Daniel's frustration simmered beneath the surface as he took a step forward, his patience wearing thin. "You skipped breakfast and lunch. You can't keep doing this to yourself," he urged, his tone firm.

Bella scoffed, shaking her head. "I said I'm not hungry," she repeated stubbornly, her defiance unwavering.

Daniel's jaw clenched in frustration as he approached her, his eyes flashing with determination. "I'm not going to let you starve yourself," he declared, reaching for the untouched plate of food on the bedside table.

Bella's temper flared at his audacity. With a swift motion, she pushed him away, the force of her shove surprising them both. "Get out," she hissed, her voice low and menacing.

Daniel stumbled back, caught off guard by her aggression. But instead of backing down, his anger flared. In a moment of heated impulsiveness, he grabbed a spoonful of food from the plate and forcefully brought it to Bella's mouth.

Bella's eyes widened in shock as she tried to push him away, but Daniel's grip was firm. With a mix of frustration and determination, he continued to feed her spoonful after spoonful, ignoring her protests.

"Stop it, Daniel!" Bella shouted, her voice muffled as he persisted.

But Daniel didn't relent, his own frustration driving his actions. He knew he was crossing a line, but he couldn't stand to see Bella neglect her own well-being any longer.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Daniel released his grip, the spoon clattering to the floor. Breathing heavily, he stepped back, his chest heaving with emotion.

Bella sat there, stunned and speechless, the taste of the food lingering in her mouth. As the silence enveloped them, a mix of emotions washed over her, leaving her feeling raw and vulnerable. In the aftermath of Daniel's forceful action, Bella's chest heaved with anger and disbelief. She stared at him, her eyes burning with fury, as she struggled to process what had just happened.

"How dare you?" she spat, her voice trembling with rage. "You had no right to do that!"

Daniel met her glare with a steely gaze, his own emotions running high. "I did what needed to be done," he retorted, his voice firm but tinged with regret.

Bella clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms as she fought to control her temper. "You crossed a line, Daniel," she seethed, her words laced with venom. "You had no right to force me like that."

Daniel's jaw tightened, his own anger flaring at her accusation. "I was just trying to help," he shot back, his tone defensive.

"I don't need your help," Bella snapped, her voice rising with each word. "I can take care of myself."

Their words echoed in the tense silence of the room, the air thick with unresolved tension. Bella's chest heaved with each breath as she glared at Daniel, her anger pulsing through her veins.

"Fine, I won't care anymore. You eat, or you can starve for all I care," Daniel shouted angrily, before storming out and slamming the door behind him.

"As if I want you to care!" Bella's voice was laced with anger and defiance as she shouted from behind.
