After Daniel left the room, I was alone, and I could hear my heartbeat; it was beating very loudly. I lay back, thinking he probably wouldn't even remember this conversation by tomorrow. I hoped so..

and with that Bella slept, after a whole session of her over thinking and regretting her statement.

Bella was sleeping alone in her room when she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. Groaning, she turned and rolled over the bed, but the pain only intensified. Her eyes flung open as she realized today was the day her period started.

With a sense of urgency, she got off the bed, only to see a huge stain on the sheets. Panic set in as she tried to cover the stain with the duvet and rushed to the washroom in search of sanitary pads. She frantically checked the drawers, but they were empty.

Heart pounding, she ran to the closet, only to find it bare. Her panic deepened as she tried to figure out what to do next.

Just then Daniel entered the room, his eyes immediately locking onto Bella. She quickly turned to face him, trying to hide the stain on her clothes. Daniel moved forward, closing the door behind him, and pinned her gently to the wall. Without warning, he leaned in and kissed her lips.

Bella pushed him away, and he stepped back slightly. "What are you doing? Why would you kiss me?!" she exclaimed.

Daniel calmly showed her his arm, where the words "I can touch Bella when sober" were written. Bella's eyes widened in shock as Daniel leaned in to kiss her again. But this time, he noticed the discomfort and a strange look on her face. He paused and asked, "Are you alright? Are you sick? Do you have a fever?" He placed his hand on her forehead.

She removed his hand gently and said, "No, I don't have a fever."

"Then?" he asked, concern etched on his face. "What's with the look on your face?"

Bella hesitated, biting her lip. The situation was awkward and embarrassing, but she could see the genuine worry in his eyes. Taking a deep breath, she decided to tell him. "I... I started my period, and I don't have any sanitary pads. There's a stain on the bed, and I don't know what to do."

Daniel's expression softened immediately. "Is that all?" he said gently. He guided me to sit on the bed and then left the room. A few minutes later, he returned with sanitary pads and clothes.

He extended his hand, and I was too embarrassed to take them from him. He took my hand in his and said, "Bella, you don't have to be embarrassed. It's alright; it's natural. Every woman goes through it." He smiled softly, and I took the items from him, then ran to the bathroom to cover the stain on my clothes. I closed the door, my heart thumping loudly, and tried to calm myself.

I took a warm shower, changed, and then emerged from the bathroom. I saw that Daniel had changed the bed sheets, which made me feel embarrassed again, but I didn't say anything.

"Stop getting embarrassed," he said, holding my hand. We walked to the dining area together.

Despite the breakfast spread in front of me, I couldn't eat because I had no appetite. My stomachache worsened, and I was on the verge of tears. Noticing my distress, Daniel stood up and gently carried me back to our room. He laid me on the bed and covered me with the duvet.

As the pain grew worse, I became restless. Daniel left the room briefly and returned with a hot pad. He removed the duvet, placed the hot pad on my abdomen, and then covered me again with the duvet.

"Just relax," he said softly, brushing my hair away from my face. "The heat should help with the pain."

Daniel lay beside me in a propped-up position, holding the hot pad in place with one hand. I was curled up against him, one of my legs draped over him for added comfort. He gently caressed my hair and my back, his soothing touch helping to ease the pain.
