The Tengo Dance Fight

Sophie POV:

"OMG SOPH!" Linh squealed as I showed her my dress for the dance tonight.

I blushed the same color of my dress.

It was a beautiful knee length red satin tube dress. I wore gold earrings which were coms for me and my friends to discuss the mission. I matched it with gold heals. Underneath my dress was my pistol that was strapped to my thigh.

Linh handed me my gold handbag, with my glasses and lipstick taser.

Linh wore a satin dark blue dress that was to her calf's. She wore silver jewelry and matched me but all silver.

Then the boys walked out, wearing solid black suits. They looked really good.

"Ready?" They asked once they saw me and Linh staring.

We both flushed.

"Yup," Linh said, as we hopped in Granites car.

We all ended up having crushes on everyone in Keefe's friend group. I liked him. Linh liked Fitz. Tam liked Biana. And Dex liked Marella.

"You guys look really good." Granite said as we drove off to the school.

"Thanks."

"So you guys have to steal a phone transfer." He asked.

"Yea," I said. "The phone holds intel for the Neverseen's big plan."

"You guys have to complete it." Granite said dead serious. "Forkle has been talking about it nonstop."

I slowly nodded and reached up to tug out an eyelash.

"Hey!" Linh said and slapped my hand. "Mascara!"

I held it to my chest and nodded.

"Sorry."

"Okay," I said as we got out the car. "Turn on the ear pieces and glasses when we split up with our dates. Report what you see back to each other."

They all nodded and as if on que, our dates showed up.

"Wow," Keefe and I breathed in unison.

He looked amazing. He wore a black and white suit with his bow, the same shade of red as my dress. His hair was styled to absolute perfection, and still held the messy look.

"You look amazing." I said with a smile.

He smiled back. "You look even better."

He then held out my hand and slid the red rosé corsage on my wrist.

He then held out his arm and gestured for us to go inside. I took it and we walked into the gym.

The moment we walked inside, I winced.

"What's wrong?" He asked in a worried tone.

I shook my head and pulled out the glasses.

"Just head rush from the bright lights." I said as I put them on. "The glasses will help my eyes adjust."

Keefe didn't seem to understand but nodded.

"Let's get food and sit down." He said, and reached in his pocket for something that I couldn't see.

We sat at a table and talked the two of us for a while. My glasses scanned everyone for the phone but nothing came up.

Did anyone find anything? Dex asked through the earring.

I just did. Linh said. The janitor in the left corner of the room. He has a broom and mop.

I looked at the corner and saw a match with the phone.
