Sophie POV:

"Sophie?" Agent Legacy whispered.

I trembled and shook, my breathing getting harder and harder. Sobs shook my body as the Limbium traveled through my limbs.

"W-w-" I tried, but couldn't get the word to form.

"Don't talk." Legacy said sadly. "I'm so sorry for all of this, but I have to. I hope you can forgive me Sophie."

How did he know my name?

He acted like we knew each other, but I haven't met anyone this merciless in my whole life.

Agent Legacy brought his hand to my shoulder and squeezed the part of it that makes people pass out. The moment he made contact, I passed out.

A bright light filled my vision as I stirred. I opened my eyes where there was a blinding white light, while my vision was blurry and black spots filled it. There was ringing in my ears and muffled talking.

A hand grabbed the top of my head, and pulled me to face them. The hand held my head upright as a woman with blond hair and ice blue eyes came into view. She had a smirk on her face.

"Agent Moonlark." She said, and injected something in my leg.

I winced and instantly felt my vision turn semi normal, and my head feeling less like a cement block.

"Who are you?" I asked, my voice sounding like a frog.

"That isn't important right now," she cooed. "Please tell me your name."

"Sophie...Foster." I rasped, and someone in the corner wrote something down.

I slowly looked around the room and saw a big white eye on the wall.

My eyes widened as I just realized I told the Neverseen my identity.

"Now can you tell us about the Black Swan?" She asked.

I lazily shook my head.

"Come on Sophie, tell us."

"I won't... tell you... a word." I rasped.

The woman sighed.

"Well," she said as she turned to the corner of the room, where the boy was. "Keefe, go bring the brief case."

I gasped at Keefe's name, making him stop and look at me.

"Do you know her Keefe?" She asked him.

He shook his head.

"No mother," he said, not dropping his gaze from me. "I have never seen her before besides my missions."

The woman nodded, who I realized was Keefe's mother.

"So Sophie," she said as she walked. "I really feel bad for what is yet to come for you. You seem like a very nice person, sweet, and kind. But you have been brain washed, and I need you to tell me everything you know."

Keefe walked back in and placed a black brief case on the table.

Gisela pulled out a dagger and tapped the tip.

"The easy way, or the hard way."

Fear spread across my whole body, and I tried to rip myself free from my ankle and wrist bonds. Gisela approached me with the dagger and she drove it down my forearm.

I bit my lip, forcing myself not to cry out in pain.

"Are you gonna talk now?" She asked, as she studied the crimson blood on the dagger.
