Keefe POV:

"Keefe," someone said, slapping my face.

I groaned and opened my eyes. My friends were standing over me, as I lay on the hard ground.

"What happened?" I asked.

Fitz helped me to my feet, and I sucked in a breath when pain shot through my entire body.

"You and Sophie were putting on a show for everyone. Then you guys ran out of there, and Sophie's group ditched us and ran out of there. You were gone for a while and we got worried so we looked around the school and found you here."

It all came back to me.

I frantically checked all the pockets in my suit for the phone, but I didn't have it.

I cursed.

"Her whole group is in the Black Swan." I said angrily. "And they stole the phone."

Everyone gasped and looked at their shoes.

After a while Biana spoke up.

"Let's get out of here."

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Gisela shouted as I sat down with my head between my knees. "YOU KNOW HOW IMPORTANT THIS MISSION WAS!"

I didn't look at her as I gazed onto the floor.

"I can't blame you though." Gisela said slowly, making my head shoot up.

"What?" I asked.

Gisela smirked. "I found Agent Moonlarks file."

She handed me a folder, with the blond agent wearing sunglasses. Though there wasn't a name.

"There's no name." I said slowly.

"I know that," she said. "The Black Swan is very organized when keeping their agent's identity's secret. Therefore, I need you to read its health issues."

I looked down to where it said the Biological information.

"Agent Moonlark was adopted at a very young age, and has worked with the Black Swan ever since. Parents- unknown." I then went down to where it talked about its health. "The Moonlark is one of the strongest and most valuable Agents to the Black Swan. Its purpose is to defeat Agent Legacy from the Neverseen..."

I looked up at Gisela who gestured for me to keep reading.

"The known weakness of the Moonlark is getting hit in the space between the left side ribs, and a severe allergic reaction to Limbium."

I looked up at Mommy Dearest, who had a smirk on her face.

She stuck out her hand and held a small vial with a metallic liquid.

"I have a mission for you," she said with a smirk. "Though, if you fail it. You are gonna be punished so badly that you will never wanna fail again. Do you understand?"

I quickly nodded.

"Good," she said as she handed me the vial. "Tomorrow you will go to the sports game after school, where The Moonlark is going to be in the security camera room. I think that she will be wanting to find out who the guy was that gave you the phone, and his identity behind being a janitor. You need to somehow give this to her, and bring her back here for interrogation."

I nodded.

"Give her the Limbium, and bring her back here. Easy."

"Don't fail Keefe."

I nodded and ran out of there, eager to go to sleep.

"So basically you have to feed Agent Moonlark something that will kill her." Marella clarified after I told her my mission.

"Well I wouldn't put it like that." I said quietly the school bells rang.

We walked into English class, where Sophie and her group was sitting. Sophie's back was hunched forward with her back facing away from me.

Linh glanced at us with a sad expression on her face. Tam and Dex looked miserable as well.

"They deserve to be upset." I said.

"Keefe, those are the people we love." Marella said. "Just because we aren't in the same organization as them doesn't mean that we can't hang out with them."

"Marella, they are the Black Swan. We are the Neverseen. We are sworn enemies with them."

Marella shook her head. "I know that, but I wanna live my life. I wanna like the boy I like and not have to because of two organizations."

I felt a pang of guilt when I saw their miserable faces. But that isn't going to mess up my mission tonight.

I put on my sunglasses and walked to through the halls, wearing my beanie, black jeans, and long sleeve black compression shirt.

I walked by the office. I picked the lock and snuck inside. I crouched in the shadows and neared the vice principals office where the cameras were.

I heard talking and frantic whispering between two people, I looked through the window and saw a boy wearing a leather jacket and jeans, working coding on a computer. Then I saw the Moonlark. Her golden blond hair lay on her back, wearing her tight black jumpsuit. She was typing on the computer next to him.

I slowly pulled out my cologne bottle, that will carve a small hole. I carved a hole into the window, big enough that I can fit the tip of my gun through. Once it broke, I slowly pulled out my pistol and held it to the hole. I aimed it at the boy's leg and shot it.

The boy screamed and fell, clutching his leg.

The Moonlark crouched down and spoke softly to him. She ripped a piece of the curtain and tied a knot around his leg.

She got up and faced me, her sunglasses hiding her identity. I walked inside with my gun pointed at her, and the Limbium clutched in the other fist.

"Not one move." I said.

She sighed. "What are you trying to do here? If you shoot me, I shoot you."

She had a point.

"Let's skip to the fighting part."

I swung my fist at her, where she easily ducked underneath. She quickly recovered and punched mg stomach, but I quickly jumped back and pulled her wrist toward me, and kicked her behind me. She flew into the wall, but seemed slightly dazed.

I kicked her again, and she collapsed with blood dripping down her lip. I swung my leg one more time, but she caught my leg. I pushed it harder, hearing her strain to push my leg.

Right then my legs got kicked out from under me, and I fell on my back.

She raised her foot over my face, making my eyes widen. I quickly rolled out the way as it came crashing down.

I got up and we squared up.

Right then I remembered what Gisela told me about her left rib cage.

She swung at me, and I caught her hand and it revealed her ribs. I punched the gap between them, making her release a strangled breath.

I pushed her to the ground and had her pinned. I placed my knees on her arms and smirked.

I grabbed her face and forced her mouth to open. I poured the Limbium down her throat.

She instantly started hacking and choking. Her hands has red blotches forming on them, and she was gasping for breath while sobbing.

"Let's see who you are Moonlark."

I then removed her sunglasses and let out a strangled breath, as I stared into the beautiful frightened eyes of my love.

"Sophie?"
