Its my job

Jimin just couldn't stop smiling,it was infectious at work others laughed more,some even giggling over silly stuff that would normally annoy them.
"Has everyone taken a happy pill?" Suga questioned as a normally shy junior greeted him with a blazing smile.
"It's the Jimin effect,people are happier in their work,"Hobi grinned
"But we weren't monsters before?" Namjoon said gruffly.
"No but we didn't exactly run a happy ship we just got things done,no extra thanks for the hard work they put in...we weren't really approachable,just the bosses now I feel we are a team and it's all down to Jimin."
"What's wrong with Jimin?" Jungkook asked coming up behind the group that were standing in Suga's doorway.
Hobi explained and Jungkook nodded,
"It was his birthday at the weekend,I felt awful not knowing."
"I knew it !your shacked up together aren't you!" Suga smirked.
Jungkook looked at his friends then nodded,
"But don't make a big deal of it,he'll go nuts"
"We could do a birthday party here at work!" Hobi said
"I could say I've got his details written down so that's how we knew?" Namjoon joined in
"And we can say it's a big thank you for all he's done?" Suga interrupted .
"I know...he has a dance class in an hour ,you lot get your secretaries involved,cake ,buffet what about a gift?"
"I have the perfect thing,I need to run home to get it...can we get this done for lunch?"
Everyone agreed and dispersed quietly talking to staff members.
Jimin stepped from his office,dancewear in hand.
"Have a good time Mr Jimin," a smiling junior said.
"Oh...thanks I will ..." he smiled back.
He went in the lift pausing the button as two staff members stepped on .
"Is everything ok?" He asked as these two as far as he knew should be typing up notes for Namjoon and Suga.
"Er yes.....we were asked to go to the storage room to collect something."
"Do you need help I can go too?"
"No,no it's fine we can manage and your class is more important..."
"Well don't lift anything heavy get the janitor to help if need be..."
The girls nodded getting off at the floor below while Jimin carried on.
He was greeted by Hobi.
"Hey Jimin I need some help in my lesson I've ok'd it with Namjoon so you can spend time here."
"Sure if it's ok then of course I'll help."
Two hours later and freshly showered Hobi stepped into the lift with Jimin,checking his phone he grinned.
"Let's go to the staff room grab a coffee,"
"I better not,I should see if anything is needed."
Hobi panicked then remembered he was a boss.
"Nonsense,I insist," he said trying for a determined voice
"Well,ok...a quick one "
The lift doors opened and shouts of
"Happy belated birthday!" Were shouted out
Jimin jumped in surprise.
"F-for me?"
"Sorry I didn't do this earlier Jimin,of course I have your info but I didn't know wether to do it before or after so I thought,Mondays are boring let's do Jimins thank you birthday party,"
"Thank you?"
"Yes on behalf of all staff here I personally want to say thank you for the way you have turned this place around,before it was just offices now it's more a family,I can't thank you enough.."
"I-I....its my job?"
"No Jimin...you've made sure everyone feels good,it's a happier place,am I right everyone?"
Claps and cheers conveyed this was the truth.
"Erm,I sent Jungkook out to choose something for you...Jungkook?"
"Jimin...I hope you like this choice," jungkook smiled passing over a gift bag and winking.
"Er thank you....do I open it now?"
"Yes!!!" Came shouts from around him.
Jimin nervously opened the gift drawing out the shirt he'd liked the other day.
"Gosh....this....I love it......"
"Hey Jungkook good taste",Tae said having got back an hour before.
"How did you know his size?" Suga smirked
"Well if it's wrong I'll change it!" Jungkook retaliated.
"It's fine ,perfect,oh my goodness,u don't know what to say except thank you all this is the best surprise!"
"We have a buffet which the girls here set up," Namjoon said waving over the two girls Jimin had seen earlier.
"Going to the storage room huh?" Jimin laughed along with the girls.
Everyone ate and chatted until Jimin stood again,
"Ok ladies and gentlemen it's been fun but we really should get back to work,"
Groans came but people started disappearing.
Jimin tried tidying up but was stopped by Jin and Namjoon.
"No,we set this up we will clear it,jungkook get him back upstairs will you?"
"Sure,"
His hand was grabbed and he was pulled to the lift.
"But..."
"Don't argue,they're enjoying this,"
Jimin sighed," it's amazing that's two celebrations ,I never had that even with my family....and the shirt,isn't that too much money?"
"It's from us all," Jungkook lied," so the cost is nothing,"
"Two gifts!I feel so lucky,"
"You know you really are a delight,no pretence just sheer honest joy,come here."
Jungkook pushed the emergency stop and pulled Jimin against him claiming his full lips caressing his backside and eliciting a small moan from his mouth.
"MmmmKookie,we shouldn't "
"Five minutes...."
Jimin giggled," no your not in bed now wait til we get home."
Jimin pressed the button and the lift started. Jungkook grumbled adjusting his pants.
The lift doors opened and Jungkook frowned.
"Mum,dad....Rosa ?what are you doing here?"
The girl called Rosa opened her coat slightly.
"Hello Jungkook.....I'm sorry but I had to tell your parents.....I thought they should know they are going to be grandparents."
"What!!!!"
"Let's go in your office Jungkook no need for staff to be spreading rumours," his father said looking sternly at Jimin.
"I'll get coffee brought in or would you prefer tea?" Jimin asked in a monotone voice shock ridding him of his usual affability .
"Nothing...we don't want to be disturbed." Jungkooks father said as Jungkook quietly walked to his office letting his parents and the girl walk in before closing the door.
Jimin felt like his world had come crashing down,he'd known that he cared deeply for Jungkook but just how much had escaped him until now where he was faced with the knowledge it would be taken from him.Of course Jungkook would have to do right by her....thats why his parents were here right?
An hour passed,Namjoon and the others became aware of Jungkooks parents being there and wondered what was happening as nobody knew what was going on.
"Namjoon can you get someone to take over Jungkooks afternoon appointments?" Jimin came in as the friends were discussing this.
"Jimin is something up with Jungkooks parents or that girl?"
"I-I don't know if I should say....."
"Say what?"
Jimin sighed then gulped," j-Jungkooks made someone called Rosa pregnant...she looks a few months along...it seems his parents want him to do right by her...."
"What...Rosa ?but didn't he see her three and a half months ago it was a hook up wasn't it?" Jin asked
"I-I have to go...erm I don't feel great...I'm sorry I'll make the time up..."
"Jimin...!"
But Jimin had rushed out,they all looked at each other,
"This is fucked up," Suga sighed
"But is it true?"
"Well if she's pregnant....."
"No he's not that dumb....."
"Poor Jimin,he looked so happy earlier."
"What will he do...?"
