Edwards pov:
After my sweet boy and I arrived at school, the both of us hurried our way to my angels and our classroom. To be honest, if it wasn't for the fact that the both of us wanted to see our dear mate, I would of just skipped school and instead would of pampered my boy some more. But since our angel indeed was in school, we also went. just to be able to spend some extra time with her.
The second we entered the classroom her eyes zoned in on Jasper, just like his land on her. His brain begging to please be allowed to go to his loves side and who am I to stop him from doing so.
„Go on." I softly encourage as he right away hurry's to our mate to pull her into his arms. The relieved sigh along with the sheer joy from the both of them is flooring. The utter love between those two is honestly incredible to watch. Especially since they hit it off with each other from the very get go. Something that is quite uncommon, since Jasper always tended to hold back as well as the fact he usually needs time to open up to new people. Yet our tiny mate instantly had this special connection with him. The whole class looks stunned as our usual quiet and people shy Jasper hugs someone with the widest smile possible on his sweet lips. Even the teacher watches in astonishment. To his defense though, he shook himself out of it rather quickly, as he simply seems happy for the both of them. He also doesn't even jolt us for being a full hour late, instead he only smiles and excuses the class.
The way to our next class was utter bliss on my side, as both my darlings seem to fly high in their need to please. Yet I make sure they aren't fully in their sub space since that wouldn't be appropriate. Even more so since no one other than our other mates are allowed to see them like that! Still I soak up every second my sweet mates try to be good for me.
„Come on loves, take a seat and pay attention. Your education is very important." I softly say and watch as my angel instantly sits straighter. Her focus now fully on the teacher that just now started with his lecture. Once again showing just how incredibly submissive and therefore special my angel actually is. My sweet Jasper also smiles brightly towards me before he went back to admire our tiny mate.
Sadly this calmness gets once again ruined by one of those stupid bitches that yet again try to belittle my darling. Which is something I definitely won't allow at all. Before i however am able to teach them a lesson, I instead scoot closer to my angel and soothingly cares her back. Needing to show her that I am here for her no matter what, and that she absolutely has nothing to worry about from those things. Not when any of her mates are near her.
„Don't listen to those nasty girls, they are only jealous of you." I whisper and see her slowly relax against my side, as Jasper seems to be sending her soothing energy as well. Something that for sure is helping her calm down bit by bit.
„That's enough! The two of you can head on out and to the headmaster. In this school bullying is strictly forbidden!" the teacher sternly states as said girls look in surprise that someone actually talked back on them when they normally always could do as they pleased. After a minute of them staring at the teacher in utter disbelief, he once again tells them to leave, which they then thankfully did. However not before looking back to my angel with pure hatred in their eyes. They both think it indeed is my sweet girls fault that they got reprimanded and even targeted by our teacher. Obviously it couldn't be their fault at all. They even start to think of how to make my angel pay for this. Which instantly makes my anger boil inside of me, and if this wouldn't out what we indeed are, I surely would rip them to pieces within seconds! How dare them!?
„It's ok Edward." the sweet voice of our angel says and pats my hand lovingly.
„No need to get all worked up over this." she simply says before whispering how she is used to much worse. This however once again throws gas into the already burning hatred of mine. They will pay! Not only for what they did today or the day before, but for every little thing anyone dared to say or do to MY Mate!
„Calm down Edward, you are starting to get everyone's attention on you." jasper voices his worry nearly inaudible. And even though I know he means well, I can't get a grip on my furry. Not now at least. My whole being is thirsting for revenge. Needing to hurt and kill all of those bitchy creatures before I can wrap my angel in bubble wrap and hide her away from any harms way.
„Can I have a hug please?" the soft and shy voice of said angel slowly reaches my brain as I instinctively wrap her in my arms and hold her tightly against my chest. With her this close nothing could possibly happen to her. Not over my dead body!
Slowly I start to calm down and therefore start paying more attention to my surroundings, only to feel my mates small hand caressing through my disheveled hair, while she softly hums a soothing tone against my neck. The realization of how tender and loving my tiny mate truly is makes me fall in love with her all the more. She also seems more than fine to be this close to me even thought most people would of been completely terrified from my angered form. Not her thought! Not my beautiful mate.
„Mister Cullen? Are you feeling alright again?" the teacher questions in uncertainty as he walks towards the back. His thoughts allow me to know exactly how petrified he truly is from me, not that i actually care though.
„Edward is perfectly fine, he just got a worrying text from Carlisle, but I think they where able to come to a conclusion." my angel simply explains with a small frown on her sweet face. Actually looking more than truthful as she speaks, when I know for a fact that it is completely made up. Yet I can't help but feel thankful and proud that she came up with such a believable lie just to help me out.
„I am sorry to hear that, I do hope everything is alright with your family mister Cullen." the teacher says with understanding, no trace left of any doubt or worry about my prior expression.
„Thank you, Carlisle simply informed me of a family matter at home, but he reassured me that it will be just fine. Yet he still meant to keep me updated. I am sorry for interrupting your class like that." I apologize, actually meaning this apology since I didn't mean to disturb my angel from learning. By the already filled out worksheets on her desk thought, I guess she already knew all of that anyway.
„No worry's. I do understand that your family is very tight knitted, so I also understand that you needed to clear it up with your father." he truthfully says. He however still seems shocked by the fact that my angel is still sitting on my lap while lovingly caressing through my hair. Yet he is smart enough to stay quiet about it. Thankfully!
„Anyway, let's pack up everyone. The class is over in a few minutes now, so no harm in closing a bit earlier than usual." he says to the whole class who quickly starts to pack up. Everyone more than happy to get another lesson behind themselves for the day.
„You really ok Edward?" my angel softly asks me while her eyes stare right into mine as if looking straight into my soul.
„I am now." I say and peck her lips. Loving the way her cheeks instantly blush from my open show of affection.
„Simply got angry by the audacity from those stupid girls." I add and see her smile lessen instantly.
„Please don't think about them, there really is no need for you to get this worked up by them." she states matter of factly before she leans forward and kisses my cheek.
„We better get to our next class now, come on." she says and scoots back onto her chair to pack her bag as if nothing has happened.
The giddy smile from Jasper only makes me shake my head in disbelief. Guess our tiny mate can be a bit cheeky too.
