'Mistrust carries one much further than trust.'
Horrid as this saying may sound, it carries an amount of truth in it. However, it is just a bit of caution on the path that she has decided to take. Onward and upward, siding with the strange stranger. At times it feels like the wrong decision, at times it feels like the best choice. To top it off, the stranger is not exactly the most perfect of beings. So is this the wrong thing to do? But then, the strange stranger comes into the picture and says;
'There are only three of you; yesterday, today and tomorrow. It's not about yesterday or today, it's about tomorrow. It's about wanting to be better and wanting to be the best version of you. Only today, only now, can you make that happen. Do it for tomorrow's you, she needs it.'
If that is not enough assurance, then she doesn't know what else is. Maybe, just maybe, this strange stranger is worth the while. Maybe this fairytale will have a different ending.
'Yes, I have now decided to go for it, no turning back now.'
For better or for worse they say, and this stranger is here to stay.
