Rajveer's POV~

As I drove past Abhi's car, I felt a surge of guilt rush through me, for making Aradhana feel like it would be a problem if she came along, all I wanted was for her to be safe but it could never justify my actions, and the way I spoke to her.

I tried to focus on getting to the location Sam had sent me as fast as I could, and accelerated my car in an attempt to push past the feelings and thoughts going on in my head.

-------

I parked my car at a distance from the exact location, and taking out my gun from the car's overhead compartment, I walked a little further to find a bungalow which looked like it had been abandoned for a while. I proceeded carefully towards the back entrance of the bungalow where Sam informed me she'd be waiting.

I reached her and she immediately signalled me to not say anything and look in through the window.

I was only expecting the attacker who escaped from custody to be there, but it looked like there were more people connected to the attackers, there was more to that incident than we knew.

Aradhana's POV~

"That's Raj's car right?" Abhikshit said as we neared the location Samriddhi had told Rajvi about.

I nodded my head in agreement and Abhikshit parked his car besides Rajveer's.

We got out of the car but looking around, there was not much to be seen, nothing strange. Abhikshit suggested we walk a little further ahead to see if we could find anything.

After an almost 5 minutes walk we noticed a shady looking bungalow.

"Well, I guess this is our best bet, do you wanna go in?" Abhikshit said with a sigh. I felt a little bad for getting him through so much trouble and told him to go back if he wanted to, saying I could go to the bungalow alone.

But he denied me, saying, "I think you're forgetting that Raj's text told me to drop you home safely, I've already not followed the first part of his instructions and I know he's gonna be really, REALLY mad at me for that, so making sure of your safety is the best I could do, to avoid getting killed by your fiance."

I chuckled a bit hearing his words and we carefully proceeded towards the bungalow.

Rajveer's POV~

We got into the bungalow through a broken window and hid ourselves behind a wall as a two of the men there, headed our way.

Sam and I both had our fingers on the triggers of our guns, ready to take the men down but just then heard a thud from behind me.

I turned around to look behind me, and it was Aradhana with a vase in her hand and Abhikshit right beside her with his gun pointed at the guy who laid unconscious on the ground, the goons had also probably heard the sound and moved even faster our way.

Aradhana's POV~

I knew Rajveer was not pleased seeing me there but what was I supposed to do knowing he was in danger.

Rajveer was about to say something but before he could do so, the goons had reached us.

Sam took one of the goons in a neck lock and knocked him unconscious, hitting him with her gun.

The other guy headed towards us but Rajveer knocked him down with a swift high kick while getting a tight grip around my wrist, making sure he doesn't loose me.

Abhikshit stepped in to help Sam tie down the goons as Rajveer turned to face me.
His eyes were expressing the anger he was suppressing inside of him.
