Caitlin pov
"good morning," I say to Kate.
"good morning," she smiles.
"I love waking up next to you," I tell her.
"especially when im naked," she jokes.
"especially when your naked," I laugh.
I slowly bring my lips to hers. they part and I kiss her bottom lip.
our lips move against each other. she climbs onto my lap, still kissing me.
she slips her tongue into my mouth. it circles around inside.
she begins to grind her hips against my abs.
"fuck," I gasp.
she smiles into our kiss.
"Caitlin!" a voice yells walking into the room.
"FUCK!" I scream.
"OH MY GOD!!" the door shuts.
"one second Monika!" I yell.
"did you know she was coming home?"she asks, rushing to put her clothes on.
"yes," I answer. "her flight wasn't supposed to get in until noon."
"Caitlin, it's 12:30," she says.
"oh fuck," I look at the time. "we slept in."
"yeah," Kate looks at the floor.
we walk into the living room after finishing getting dressed.
we sit down on the couch, across from Monika.
"hi," I say awkwardly.
"so," Monika laughs. "you two?"
"yup," Kate smiles.
"I knew it," she jumps.
"how does everyone know?" I ask.
"oh I meant that you're gay," she laughs.
"wow," I sigh. "everyone did know before me, then."
"yeah.." Kate says.
"how long of have you two been together?" mon asks.
"about two months," I tell her.
"when did you break up with Connor?" she asks.
I sit and stare at her.
"you haven't broken up with him," Monika says.
"that would be correct," I confirm.
"wow," she sighs. "well, im happy for you two."
"thanks," Kate smiles.
"although the image of Kate humping you naked will never be pured from my mind."
Kate laughs as her head falls to her hands.
"I know this is going to sound weird," Monika warns. "but I honestly would think that you're both tops."
I look at Kate and laugh. "we are."
"me more than her," Kate says.
"Nuh uh," I argue.
"yeah huh," she laughs. "I've got more top energy than you."
"that's true," Monika agrees.
"whatever," I sigh.
"thanks for the ego boost," Kate says to Monika.
she laughs. "who else knows?"
"syd guessed," I tell her.
"we told Molly a few days ago," Kate says.
"or did she just see the hickeys on your neck?" Monika asks.
"what?!" I yell.
"you could see them in Kate's posts!" she puts her hands up. "I knew that Connor didn't do that."
"how?" I ask.
"you hardly ever let him touch you in a non-platonic way. I never heard you two do anything when I lived here," she says.
"I wish I could say the same about you," I sigh.
she rolls her eyes and laughs. "I was actually going to ask you who gave you the hickey while I was here. but I think that walking in on you two fucking was enough of an answer."
Kate laughs.
"also," she says. "why would you tell Molly of all people?"
"she is so much less innocent then she puts out there," I say.
"yeah," Kate laughs. "she's really come out of her shell this season."
"that's not what I meant," Monika says.
"what do you mean?" Kate asks.
"I meant, why would you tell the only girl on the team whom you've had a one night stand with?"
"what?" Kate whispers. "how did you know?"
"we all knew," mon laughs.
"I didn't!" I say.
"Caitlin," Monika says. "you're pretty clueless about everything off the court."
"rude," I say. but true.
"how did everyone know?" Kate asks.
"well one, AJ got kicked out of Molly's hotel room that night. and Jada woke up to see that Kate wasn't there. Molly had a covered up hickey on her neck. Kate had one on her collarbone that she thought was cleverly covered by her jersey. it was not," Monika says.
"wow," Kate says.
"yeah," Monika laughs. "now, tell me why you told Molly?"
"because we knew that of all people, she wouldn't tell." I say.
"Bluder knows too," Monika says.
"WHAT?!" I scream.
"she calls sometimes to check in on me and she said that she had a suspicion that you two were "kanoodling"," she says.
"to which you said..?"
"that I agreed," she says proudly.
"what?!" Kate yells.
"you two have always had a different connection! I've always been suspicious that you liked each other."
"we do have a connection," Kate smiles, looking at me.
"yeah," I smile back.
she scooches closer to me and pulls me in to cuddle me.
"very strong connection," Kate jokes.
"very," I agree.
I look up at her and give her soft kisses.
"alright, enough," mon says.
"sorry," I say.
