Aurora had slept peacefully that night.

After their moment, Aurora had drifted off, her mind and body feeling utterly satiated. She had slept in his strong arms, feeling secure and protected.

When she woke up she was in a blissful daze, her heart fluttering against her ribcage. Memories of the adulterous acts between her and her husband flashed through her mind, but she smiled to herself.

She felt whole.

For a few moments she just laid there, still able to feel his phantom hands tracing along her body. She reached out for him, only to find that the place he once laid in beside her was empty.

She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, scanning the room for any sort of evidence that he planned to return.

She pouted and sighed slightly when she came to the realisation that he had most likely gone to the yard to train.

She outstretched her arms above her head, wincing slightly at the soreness of her womanhood.

As she began to step away from her bed, her eyes locked on a little piece of crumpled parchment that had been placed at her bedside. With curiosity she grabbed it, a wide grin adorning her features as she gazed upon it.

It was an intricate drawing of a rose, with a scribbled note beneath it in high Valyrian.

'Nykeā sīmontan syt issa sīmontan' A rose for my rose.

She giggled, finding herself touched at the sincerity and that he thought of her before departing for the day. She was always quite fond of his sketches and this one was no different.

Her mind wandered to their initial first few days of marriage, when he had become irritated at her for prying into his work. Swatting her hand away as she attempted to do the very thing she was doing in this moment, tracing her fingers along the delicate pen strokes.

She was interrupted from her thoughts as a knock sounded at her chamber door, she flinched in excitement. Hoping that her silver haired stallion had come to emulate his actions of the night before.

"Enter." She spoke softly, attempting to fix her wild auburn locks.

Aurora was disappointed to see that it was her hand maidens who requested entry. They walked in unison with towels and hot water, curtsying to her as they did so.

"Good morrow, my lady. Did you sleep well?" Adelaide asked, setting down the towels on the mattress.

"Quite well, thank you Adelaide." Aurora had to admit that she had slept wonderfully after her husband's sensual touch last night.

"Can you prepare something light for me to eat, something with bread and some soft cheeses?" She would not demand much more than that, though she was hungry, she had noticed that she was much more peckish after last night. She was also still rather sore down there aswell.

"Of course my lady, shall we get you ready?" Her other handmaiden Frida spoke.

Aurora was grateful for the familiar faces that surrounded her in Kings Landing, and even more so as she remembered how she had to practically beg for her handmaiden's to be allowed to move to the city with her. Her husband had been hesitant, but she could not bear to be without them both. She was incredibly grateful for their presence and comfort in the city, and felt a sense of security having them stay nearby. She could not help but to smile at them once more, as she gave a grateful nod in confirmation.
