It's the next day that Izuku is sitting at his kitchen counter eating a bowl of cereal while his mind wanders.

Last night that too hot for real life tattoo artist showed up at his door unannounced to basically check on him. Not only that he had looked over his art work, complemented him and then offered him a job.

A job, in his shop, with him.

It's was still unbelievable to Izuku who is pretty sure last night was just a fever induced dream because he was still sick but as his eyes land on a now empty container of chicken soup that was delivered to him last night with words from his elderly neighbor, Mrs. Kane, he knows it wasn't a dream.

He can still remember the shock he felt when he answered the door to see Mrs Kane with a take out bag of soup.

"Hello Izuku dear. Your charming, handsome boyfriend asked me to be sure that you got this since you are still under the weather. It's so nice to see such an attentive young man. You're very lucky."

Izuku had been dumbfounded as he took the container of soup with a blush across his cheeks knowing Katsuki had told her they were a couple so he could get into the building.

" Oh..um..t-thank you Mrs. Kane. Y-es he's very attentive."

She smiled at him with a laugh and a wink.

" And handsome, so handsome. If I was younger you'd have competition on your hands for that one for sure. Good night love."

" Good.. Goodnight Ma'am."

After he had shut the door he just stood there staring at the container of hot soup in complete shock. Katsuki had sent him soup because he was sick, making sure it got to him. The reality of that made a swarm of butterflies invade his system rapidly, then just as quickly brought a flush to his cheeks as he thought of the way he had told Mrs Kane he was his boyfriend. He knows it was just teasing words, knows that that impossibility hot guy isn't really interested in him like that. Sure he flirts and teases him but surly that's just because Izuku is an easy target right? He thinks that's gotta be it.

He raises a brow suddenly. Katsuki had said though that he would have taken him out for a drink that night. That's gotta mean something, maybe anyway, he's not entirely sure.

His eyes shift now from that empty soup container back down to the cereal in his bowl, he scrunches his face in thought, his spoon still in his mouth while his thoughts distract him completely.

A job at the tattoo shop is something that's totally outside his comfort zone and something he never would have even considered before. Katsuki made it sound easy, like the transition would be a breeze just because he was talented enough to draw, but Izuku knows there's more to it and knows that a job like that probably wouldn't suit him at all.

He raises a brow slightly as he continues to think.

Even though the job may not technically suit him working with the blonde would definitely be a plus. He's sure Katsuki could teach him a lot and well if he's being honest, he's drawn to that dangerous tattoo artist with the black tribe tattoos and the dark crimson predatory eyes that make Izuku think of a tiger.

It's those thoughts he's lost in when he hears a heavy knock on his door that makes him drop the spoon right out of his mouth.

His eyes dart to the clock, it's only seven am no way is Katsuki here yet when Izuku just got up and is sitting in the biggest sweats he has and the baggest tshirt in existence with his hair wild with morning bedhead. He sits frozen for a minute, thinking maybe he heard wrong, besides Katsuki would have to be buzzed in from downstairs.
