"........,"

As we entered the manor, Alissa became the center of attention.

Everyone's gaze swiveled towards the young girl nestled securely in (Y/N)'s arms, curiosity etched on their faces.

"Sandra!"

(Y/N)'s voice boomed politely yet firmly, summoning a maid known for her expertise with children.

"Yes, Your Grace?"

Sandra responded promptly, offering a respectful curtsy before her eyes darted to Alissa.

"Please see to the care of this young one,"

(Y/N) instructed, handing Alissa over to the waiting maid.

"Hans!"

(Y/N)'s next order was directed towards his personal servant.

Hans snapped to attention, his eyes gleaming with a spark of anticipation under his master's commanding gaze.

"Find a tailor, and quickly, I want another batch."

Hans acknowledged the order with a swift nod before disappearing into the bustling manor.

"Clothes for her?"

I inquired, my gaze flitting to Alissa's threadbare clothing that spoke volumes of poverty or homelessness.

"Indeed,"

(Y/N) confirmed with a sigh.

He then reached into his pocket, producing a fluffy white rabbit to Alissa's great delight.

Her squeals of joy echoed through the entrance hall.

'Interesting,' I thought, a question mark forming in my mind. 'Where on earth did that come from?'

"There you go,"

(Y/N) murmured gently to the girl, his eyes softening as her delight transformed her features.

The rabbit, however, seemed less than thrilled.

Its eyes darted around the room in silent distress, seemingly pleading for escape from yet another small hand.

Unable to contain myself, I let out a chuckle at the sight of the bunny's obvious discomfort.

The absurdity of the situation brought a smile to my face.

"Poor thing,"

I chuckled, watching as Alissa showered the creature with affection.

Oblivious to Bun-Bun's silent woes, or perhaps simply unconcerned, Alissa cooed lovingly, her touch gentle as she stroked its soft fur.

The rabbit, though clearly resigned to its fate, tolerated her touch, gradually settling into the unusual interaction.

"Never thought you had a soft spot for bunnies,"

I remarked, my voice laced with amusement as I observed (Y/N)'s masked face.

He shrugged nonchalantly, a faint smirk playing on his lips.

"Gift from a friend. Besides," he continued, his voice dropping a fraction as Bun-Bun's ears twitched noticeably, "he keeps me company."

There was a genuine fondness in his voice as he spoke of their strange companionship.

"His name is Bun-Bun,"

(Y/N) finished, a hint of amusement sparkling in his eyes.

I couldn't help but snort with laughter.
