The venue was decorated beautifully with all kind of lights. The Jeon couple were welcoming guests and somewhere deep down waiting with a hope of their older son's surprise arrival but the time given for party was almost there with no Jungsuk.
While Jungkook looked through his great closet not being able to find one 'good' outfit for the night.
He was about to give up when he heard a knock.
Opening he found one of his cousin giving him a box saying it came up to door for him.
He carefully closed the door with a black rectangular box in his hand. Sitting down, he opened the box to find a beautiful black dress with a note placed on it, on the top.
The note read,
I know you didn't like our first encounter, we are very different but trust me there is no bad blood in my heart or my family's.
I am just a protective mother with sharp mouth as my son says. I know what I did, I regret asking about your personal life. I am extremely sorry for that, your life is yours but since your brother is going to my daughter, his life decisions concerned us.
We are giving our princess to your brother ofcourse we will have our suspicions and should I add that this is the first love marriage in our family?
Anyway I do not want to extend this note anymore, this dress is a gift from us Kims. It's alright if you've already chosen your birthday dress, just accept our gift and maybe try to not take the anger and hate you have for me, out on my daughter. She doesn't deserve it Jungkook, just like how you didn't deserve my stupid questions, nobody did.
Happiest Birthday you incredible boy, I am very proud of you.
-Kim Ryla & The Kims.
Upon reading the note, tears brimmed over the doe eyes of Jungkook.
His hands shivered as he carefully folded the note back and kept it inside his locker.
Then looked at the beautiful dress and smiled. "The choice is not that bad." He sniffled a little and tried to hide his puffy eyes by make up.
"I will wear it Mrs.Kim, not because I forgave you but because your sincerity impressed me." He thought and took a deep breathe before changing into the black dress.
Taehyung stopped the car near the venue and stared at all the decorations with an impressed smile. "Jieun did great, didn't she?" Taeyang asked with a proud grin. "Definitely." He replied.
Ryla fiddled a little with her saree, eyes casted down.
Taehyung observed her and sighed. "I hope you didn't write something stupid in that letter mom." He spoke. "No no, instead I wrote everything like... everything."
Hearing her made Taeyang smile as he took her nervous hands in his own. "Then don't worry. Let's go."
Taehyung saw his parents all drowned in love even after 30 years of marriage. He wished the same for himself, but then he doubt himself and his destiny.
