Jungkook stared at all the messages he got from his friends and sighed. Replying thank yous is the toughest for him.

He focused on what type of clothes he should choose.

"The black looks perfect." He mumbled and smirked. "Get me both of them, all black." He announced and walked away to make the payment.

"Mom would surely beat my ass but who cares. I'm earning now so I will wear whatever I want." Jungkook smirked and left the shop.

Jieun walked towards the venue and informed the location to her lover.

"I'm so grateful Jieun, thank you. Please make all the preparations well and good. I trust your skills." Jungsuk said and hugged her who smiled bashfully.

"Be ready and come on time okay. Take care." She said and waved at him walking back to focus on managing the event.

"The cake should only be chocolate." Jungsuk reminded her earning a nod from her.

Taehyung sat inside his cabin wondering what present should he get for Jungkook. Not like he knows him well or they even friends? Nah.

"Don't fret over such topic, since when did you start caring about bringing the best presents for somebody's birthday?" His friend also his assistant Seojun asked him.

"Since now." Taehyung answered and asked him about his further schedule. "All clear. No meetings ahead." Seojun informed and took his leave.

"Man who would help me..." Taehyung muttered and threw his head back in frustration and then remembered, Jungsuk.

"He might be coming.."

With that thought, Taehyung texted Jungsuk and got reply almost immediately.

They decided to meet at nearest café.

"So? You wanted to meet me. I'm surprised." Jungsuk started with an amused face. "Look I am not asking you to forget whatever I did. But the thing is, I'm trying to mend these relations between our family. Your brother is clearly not pleased with my family." Taehyung explained and Jungsuk nodded, understanding and agreeing.

"So, you are coming tonight for the party?" Taehyung asked, fixing his tie. It was getting awkward for him to talk so much plus, with Jungsuk. "Ofcourse I am coming tonight. It's my little brother's birthday." Jungsuk's reply got a nod from Taehyung. "So what have you planned for gift?" Taehyung asked as he took a sip of his chocolate shake.

"I've not yet decided, but let me tell you. Jungkook isn't all good boy at all that you'd expect. He likes luxury, he likes money spent on him and if he feels it's not happening he would happily spend his own money on himself, that he does always. But the thing is, the presents will have to be worth it. You get what I mean?" Jungsuk's description on Jungkook made Taehyung gulp.

He thought of Jungkook totally opposite, "so you're asking me to bring expensive gift for your brother? At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if your family asks for dowry." Taehyung claimed with a blank face.

"Acting as if yall have no money." Jungsuk chuckled. "Don't worry I was just kidding. Bring whatever you feel like is needed for him."

"I can't bring maturity and patience as a gift, sorry." Taehyung said and yawned. This was exhausting.

"This time you will be the one recieving punch." Jungsuk warned him. "And you will be the one recieving rejection for your marriage. Behave yourself." Taehyung smirked and got up.

Fixing his suit he stared at Jungsuk. "You have no idea about our richness. It was a waste of time asking you. I know exactly what to give him. Show your face at the party, he will appreciate it." Taehyung said and left a tip at the table, winking at Jungsuk.

"What a bastard..." Jungsuk balled his fists. "But why was he even asking about gift for Jungkook, he could bring literally anything..." he mumbled while frowning.

"Fuck that."

Lina smiled when she saw Jieun walking towards her. She asked her to take a seat and brought a lemon juice for her.

"Are you done?" She asked the exhausted girl. "Yes, everything will be great. Trust me." Jieun spoke.

"I trust you..." Lina said and patted her head,

Jungkook who walked through the door saw the scene and scoffed.

"Done showing love?" He asked loudly making the ladies look at him. "Jungkook you're back?" Lina asked as she got up. "You would rather me not come, I know it mom." Jungkook spoke and walked away towards his room, not before glaring at Jieun.

"I think he is angry at me..." Jieun said, her tone sounded miserable yet all she felt was anger towards Jungkook. He was throwing tantrums and taunts everywhere yet he is the loved one. Yet her mother liked HIM.

"Don't worry Jieun-ah. He acts like that sometimes. He might be jealous." Lina laughed it off but that didn't convince the girl.

"He was out all this while?" She asked instead. "Yea he went on a solo date, then shopping." Lina spoke with a smile. "Alone? You all let him go alone?" She asked with a frown. "Yea? What's so wrong about it? He literally lived alone in a different country Jieun. He can take care of himself." Lina explained with a proud grin.

Jieun felt Lina repeating her mother's words. Before she could ask further,

"MOM! WHERE IS MY LAPTOP?"

Jungkook rushed down the stairs. "I kept it inside my locker, no laptop today, rest for a while." Lina said in a stern tone.

"Mom there is a very important data that should be sent to my colleague please." Jungkook explained. "It's alright Jungkook, it's just for the day." Jieun interrupted.

Jungkook's gaze travelled towards hers and he stared at her up and down and smirked.

"You wouldn't get it. First handle the stuff you have on your own plate then go solving other's issues."

His answer pissed Jieun off.

"Oh? Atleast I have your brother with me which you clearly don't." She fired back.

Her answer made Lina shocked. Jungkook's left eye twitched in anger.

"Y'know I'm all ready and capable to return your brother's actions. Instead of your brother, I will beat the shit out of you." Jungkook said as he walked closer to Jieun.

He bent down to her eye level and smirked.

"And I bet today nobody would stop me or even say a word against me."

Lina heard Jungkook and gulped, shaking her head she decided to separate them but the tension still lingered.

"Leave now, will you?" He asked with a sweet smile, "Jungkook you can't talk to her like that." Lina warned him.

"Oh but I thought she had my brother with her which I clearly don't, so why is she here? She can go where he is." then he turned towards Jieun, "For your information, all thanks to your great brother, my brother is out of this mansion. You may go to him." Jungkook announced and cocked his eyebrow over the door.

"I know everything already Jungkook!" Jieun exclaimed.

"Wow cool, you want a candy now?" He asked with a poker face.

Jieun's face heated up as she saw Jungkook laughing after talking so rudely with her.

"M-mom look how is he talking!" She tried to complain to Lina who sighed.

"Oh baby there's no mother for you here, that's mine. You may go complain to your own." Jungkook said as he winked at her.

"Jungkook please, she is going to marry your brother!" Lina tried to convince him. "Oh? But I see no brother here." Jungkook said followed by a yawn.

"Man, are you not leaving?" He asked Jieun who huffed and felt her ego twisting. "Hey wait!" He called out making her turn around in hope for him to say it was just a prank.

"Tell my regards to your parents and brother too!" He said, giving her a flying kiss.
