It was day a before Jungsuk and Jieun's engagement. The Jeons and Kims were in extreme rush and excitement.

Jungkook took the initiative of shopping while Taehyung decided to manage the venue and catering work.

Lina and Raj both took the soon to be married couple to their native place to pay a visit to their ancient temple. Jungkook couldn't join them there but still, he managed his taken work well and bought the best dresses and jwelleries. Jieun being not a big fan of shopping and jwellery, she happily accepted Jungkook's choice and so did everyone.

The Kim's mansion was full of waiters and workers, decorating every corner of it into perfection. Despite being the bride, Jieun took initiative of decorating her house like she wished.

Ryla and Taeyang felt proud looking at their daughter's dedication and passion.

"I'm glad that she is happy." Taeyang spoke with a soft smile making Ryla sigh in content. "But for how long?"

"What? What do you mean?" He asked in confusion.

"Your mother is arriving tonight. You think she will let this occasion go on peacefully?" Ryla barked.

"Mother..no way. I almost forgot. Ofcourse she will come." Taeyang groaned. "Yes ofcourse she is coming. I've informed Taehyung to pick her up but that boy hates her- still out respect he has agreed anyway." Ryla said with a sigh.

"One problem solved, another arrived." Taeyang whispered to himself.

Soon the night fell as the mansion was now decorated with numerous lights making it stand out the brightest.

The doors of the mansion opened as Taehyung entered inside carrying the clutch of his grandmother, who just walked inside with the darkest aura a human can possibly own.
"Grandma, wait up. We'll bring water for you-" Taehyung spoke but stops when she showed him her palm.

"Call everyone here." She uttered in a stern tone.

Taehyung sighed helplessly and nodded. He walked towards the entrance and told the guard to send his parents and Jieun downstairs immediately.

Soon enough they all gathered infront of grandmother.

"M-mother, hello. How are you-" she stopped Taeyang from speaking and pointed at her feet. "Did you forget your manners son?" She asked in dreadfully stern tone.

Taeyang gulped and shook his head, "No mother, sorry." He said and both him and Ryla touched her feet in order to seek blessings.

"Long live, stay blessed." The grandmother muttered then looks at Jieun, "what are you waiting for?"

Without wasting any time she quickly scurried over her and touched her feet and later so did Taehyung.

"Stay happy." Grandmother spoke while rubbing their backs."Come inside, come." Taeyang said as he led her in living area.

"How was your journey mother?" Taeyang asked. "It was tiring, very much. But for Jieun...it's fine." She said while giving a soft stare to her.

"That's so sweet of you." Taeyang spoke with a small smile. "We've arranged the guest room for you mother."

"Yes but let me ask, how are you all?" The older lady asked specifically looking at Ryla. "We're all good, mother in law." Ryla answered in a respectful tone.

"Good to hear. I was wondering..now that y'all have already planned for Jieun and her marriage without asking me anything, I do deserve to plan for Taehyung right?" Grandmother asked making Taehyung's eyes go wide as he quickly answered, "No!"

Everyone looked at him in shock as well as confusion.

"I know you deserve it grandma..I appreciate you wanting to do that for me but..just don't. I will manage it okay. I don't want you stressing about my marriage at this age." Taehyung spoke in the most reasonable way possible, trying to convince his grandmother.

"Taehyung I care for you. I want the best for you. I don't know what kind of guy your parents have agreed to get Jieun married to. I don't want you to be the part of the same thing." His grandmother gritted her teeth.

"Grandma it's not like that. Jieun is their daughter as well. I know you care for me, for us but...when it comes to life partner, let us choose it ourselves. This guy, his name is Jeon Jungsuk. Jieun herself chose him. Please grandma try to understand. Plus you trust me right?" Taehyung asked in a hopeful tone, "Yes I do Tae.." His grandmother said in a soft voice.

"Then trust me when I say, this man is the best for our Jieun. I have tested him. I've done all my research about him. He is good for her. So please don't degrade her choice."

His grandmother stared at him for a moment then nodded slowly. "If that's the case then fine but..I swear to God, the second I'd come to know he did something wrong to her- I will slap him myself. I won't spare him." His grandmother threatened.

"No problem grandma." Taehyung agreed with a nod.

"Uh let's not think about him doing anything bad. No negativity." Taeyang spoke with a small smile.

"All doubts and misunderstandings are resolved and only marriage remains now. Day after tomorrow our Jieun will be married, can't you all be a little more energetic and excited?" Ryla spoke with a grin as the grandmother gave her a single nod, "True."

"Also now come here Jieun." The grandmother pats the seat beside her. Once she is sat beside her, grandmother rubs her back. "How are you feeling now?"

"I'm excited grandma. I'm happy. I'm just, in the best mood." Jieun said with a huge smile.

"I pray for your happiness my lovely baby." Her grandmother said with a small smile.

"Don't stress at all okay, take a good rest and be as energetic as possible. After tomorrow it will all be a rush." Jieun nodded at grandmother's words. "I know grandma. Thank you for accepting my choice."

"Always Jieun baby, stay happy. I pray for your good future and happy married life."

Taehyung smiled while watching the interaction between them. He knew his grandmother isn't a good lady at all but for her grandkids, she can do anything. Her love is real no matter how hard and tough she showed herself to be.

He just hoped that no other obstacle stand between his and his sister's life now unaware of the fact that the same obstacle will make its entry soon.
