Chapter 17

Jieun waited for Jeon's arrival eagerly and the rest of the Kim's family smiled looking at her.

"Calm down Jieun-ah. They are almost there." Taeyang said and patted the seat beside him. "No dad, I'm just...so happy. Y'all don't know!" Jieun exclaimed and Taehyung for a second felt guilty that he made her suffer so much for her love, if he had gone through that, not able to meet Jungkook when they know they love eachother and are in relationship, he would die inside. The mere thought of it, scared him to core.

The doorbell rang breaking Taehyung's chain of thoughts. Jieun immediately rushed towards and opened the door to find her soon-to-be in laws with her would be.

"Welcome! Welcome!"

The Jeons chuckled looking at her enthusiasm.

They all sat in living room and exchanged greetings while Taehyung just openly stared at Jungkook.

Jungkook felt his stare and cursed him mentally.

Can a person be more obvious?

He thought and scoffed and diverted his attention towards Jieun who was speaking about her new drink that she prepared for them.

Jungsuk felt Taehyung was sitting silently due to the awkwardness so he decided to engage him in their conversation too.

"So are you happy? Dear brother in law?" Jungsuk asked with a cheesy grin. Taehyung finally looked at Jungsuk then at his younger brother, "yeah I'm elated, brother in law..." Taehyung said with a confident grin making Jungsuk frown.

Jungkook choked on his drink and coughed loudly.

"Oh don't mind my brother, he is a little weak in the relations topic y'know... Tae... don't call him that. You can just call him by his name okay!" Jieun tried to cover up. "But isn't he my brother in law-"

"No! He is not, shut up!" Jungkook screeched earning everyone's attention.

"Uh...it actually pisses me off if someone gets relations messed up. Haha my bad. Sorry for raising my voice." Jungkook laughed then sheepish apologized when he got a glare from his mother.

"We actually wanted to get Taehyung married before Jieun. But as you see, this boy has nobody in his life, nor is he ready to let anyone enter...he doesn't even agree to whoever we arrange him with." Taeyang said with sigh. "Dad, we're not here for this!" Taehyung whined lowly. While Jungkook clenched his jaw at the thought of Taehyung getting married to someone else.

"Haha no worries! It happens. Well we would've gotten Jungkook married before Jungsuk but he just doesn't want to so we don't force him." Raj said, laughing lightly. "Haha as if let's get them married before Jieun and Jungsuk!" Lina joked with a light laugh. "Haha right, with eachother on that!" Ryla added with another laugh making everyone stare at her with different emotions.

Jungkook and Taehyung felt their heart skip a beat over the thought of getting married to eachother.

"Haha nice one, but we all know what type of wife you would want for Taehyung, that's definitely not like my Jungkookie..." Lina cleared in a firm voice. "Well that's their choice." Ryla shrugged.

"Jungkook would nev-" "Lina enough, we're not here for this." Raj interrupted her.

"Yes finally. So what about wedding in Mumbai, I have nice plans over the place and everything." Taeyang suggested earning an affirmative nods from everyone. "There's this resort..."

And the discussion went on till it was decided that the wedding would be within next 3 weeks, in Mumbai.

"I'm so excited!" Jieun exclaimed with an excited grin plastered over her face.

"I bet!" Jungsuk said with a wink.

Jungkook sighed softly and diverted his gaze to Taehyung, who was already staring at him.

"I say let the soon to be wedded talk a little..." Taehyung suggested loudly, not breaking the eye contact with Jungkook.

"Huh? No. They could-"
"Under my observation." He declared and finally looked at his parents.

"Hmm, valid." Ryla said and Lina looked at her for some time then nodded her head.

"Just because I trust you Taehyung." Lina said with a smile.

They three went into Taehyung's room but not before Taehyung gesturing Jungkook to follow them and Taehyung's made the couple talk in balcony and he himself sat on his bed staring at the ceiling.

Jungkook looked at his parents then at Kim's and laughed nervously.

"Hahaha, uhm what would I do here alone with you all?" He asked while shaking his head.

"I'd rather be with them haha, I will also keep an eye on them." Jungkook's excuse earned a hearty laugh from Ryla and a nod from Lina as he sprinted back to the room they all went.

Soon Taehyung heard the door of his room unlocking and a timid Jungkook entered.

"You don't know how hard it was to come here!" Jungkook said and landed his ass on the bed beside Taehyung who just stared at him.

"You seem too relaxed over here hm?" Taehyung asked after silently staring at him for two long minutes.

"Yea? The bed's too comfy!" Jungkook said as he snuggled into the pillow making Taehyung smile lightly.

"You are getting comfortable in this room I see..." Taehyung said as he leaned towards him, closing the distance between them, "Getting a little too comfortable on my bed." He said and flicked Jungkook's chin staring at his round doe eyes.

"Your brother's right there." He pointed at the balcony where they can clearly see them chatting together, engrossed into eachother.

"Don't even think about it." Taehyung said when he saw Jungkook eyeing his lips.

"Just marry me already."
