"Oh I did, Taehyung helped me choose that dress! It was his choice, did you like it Jungkook?" Ryla asked in excitement while Taehyung felt like his soul leaving his body. He knew his mother had no control over her tongue but this much.
"Uh haha, yeah she asked me to..." he tried to reason while Jungkook stared at him with a questionable look. "You never chose any dress for me-" Jieun started with a pout making him sigh, he saw this coming. "Your mother never asked me to choose anything for you. Go ahead whine about it." Taehyung said with a done face.
Jieun huffed and ignored him while Jungsuk gave a suspicious look at Taehyung but let it go. Jungkook on the other hand observed Kim Taehyung, tried reading his mind and gestures.
He approached him slowly. "Why are you so nervous? I loved this dress, thank you so much." Jungkook spoke softly. Taehyung looked into Jungkook's eyes which were shining brightly, "I...no worries." Taehyung muttered as he broke the eye contact, breathing deeply.
Jungkook tilted his head with a frown. "You didn't want to choose for me, I know, you must be upset over it..." Jungkook spoke sadly and looked around.
Taehyung immediately turned towards him shaking his head. "No no not at all! I just helped my mother."
"So you chose just for helping your mother?" He asked narrowing his eyes. "I...no! I also wanted to give you something what would suit you. I realised mom wouldn't know it, so I helped." Taehyung explained, sweating slightly. Jungkook noticed everything and smiled at his posture. He didn't know why Taehyung was acting like that but he definitely enjoyed the sight.
"The night was awesome, the decorations as well. Have a great life ahead Jungkook." "Become more successful!" Jungkook's relatives praised and took their leave.
"It was tiring but I am happy!" Lina exhaled. "True. It all went well..." Raj said looking Jungkook who was gathering his dress and walking towards exit while Jieun and Jungsuk closely followed him. Taehyung stood aside for few moments to observe the situation.
"Where are you all going?" Raj asked them. "The night is still young dad!" Jungkook winked and told him, "We all are going out, my gift!" he whispered the last part.
"Oh? Okay take care." Raj said while dragging a questioning and confused Lina with him.
"Suk, I am not coming like this!" Jungkook hissed showing his gown. "Why you look like a princess?" Jungsuk laughed. "No I really love this dress but going outside like this...no." Jungkook's reason sounded fair to everyone and Jieun got an idea.
"Jungkook! Anyway we are going out so wear the dress we bought you as gift!" She suggested with a smile making Jungkook nod in approval. He didn't want to go outside looking like a princess as his brother said.
"I will take him, we will come together, wait for us." Jieun told Jungsuk and Taehyung who just gave her a nod.
"Come let's go!"
