"Arthur you've been starring at these flowers for twelve minutes." I say.
"Shhh... don't rush me, Merlin." Arthur says.
"I'm sure she'll love whatever you get her." I say.
"You don't know Red Hood. She needs perfect." He looks into my eyes.
I let out a breath.
"Any luck on your ends?" I ask the others.
"This store is pretty bland." Jack says.
"Eh. Going okay." Hans shrugs.
I hear a loud boom. I turn.
"Pino, what are you guys doing?" I ask.
"Testing our new plant cutter. Apparently, we're still working on the kinks." Pino says.
"Right..." I say.
"Merlin, speaking of which, what'd you pick?" Arthur asks.
I hold up white flowers mixed with pink and blue. Jack examines them.
"Um... what's wrong with them?" I ask.
"Merlin, no offense but this looks bland." Jack says.
He hands me red ones.
"Uh... I'm not sure those will work." I say.
"Why not?" Jack asks.
"They're red. Like apples." I say.
"Ah. Right." He says.
"I think those are fine Merlin." Arthur says.
"Thanks. And no thanks to you Jack." I say.
"You have to admit I'm usually right about these things." Jack points out.
"No, I don't." I gently shove him.
