"Destroy your staff?" Jack asks.
I nod. It's the only way. Unfortunately-
"I just don't know how to destroy this." I say.
"Wait, you don't?" Arthur asks.
I nod.
"What do you mean you don't know?!" Arthur yells.
"Hey, it's better than nothing." Snow points out.
"I know." I say.
I grip my staff.
"But... I'm not sure what it will do to me." I say.
"What are you talking about?" Snow asks walking over.
"The staff and I are kind of connected. It's hard to explain." I say.
"So, what you're saying is that if we destroy the staff, we could destroy you?" Hans asks.
"Yeah, something like that." I say.
Silence falls. The wind comes through the windows. I feel it around my hands. It rustles through my hair. This is tense. But... I really don't see any other way. Snow walks forward. She grabs my hand. I look at her.
"No, no. There has to be another way." She looks up at me.
"I'm sorry but we really don't have much time." I say.
"Merlin, please. We have to find another way." She says.
"I'm sorry Snow White but I agree with... Merlin." Arthur says.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah, we're friends still." He says.
"I am for this." Hans jumps down.
"But what will happen to you, if we destroy the staff?" Jack asks.
"I don't know but I know where to destroy it." I say.
"Where?" Arthur asks.
"The place where I started the curse in the first place." I say.
"Let's go Mitz." Arthur puts his hand on my shoulder.
