It's been too long. I've wasted away in the darkness for centuries. I'm sick of it. I'm tired of withering in the fires and shadows of Hell. Why must we rot in the darkness and all of humanity bathes in the sun? I grab a stone and I crush it.

It's so unfair. Humans are more monstrous than demons. I have seen them fight over the simplest things. They are... corrupt. It's not fair that we have to wither in the night. The sun... the grass... the air... it's perfect up there. Down here the air is foul, and the grass is black. I stand up. Too long have we suffered in the dark. Humans don't deserve it up there. I despise humans.

"Maziroath." A voice says behind me.

I turn.

"Are the soldiers ready?" I ask.

He kneels and hands me my staff. I take it. It starts glowing red.

"Yes. They are eager to go to the above world." He says.

"For too long our kind has waisted away. We will take our rightful place back." I say.

"The humans will not go down without a fight." He says.

I shoot red lighting out. It makes an opening in the sky.

"I'm counting on it." I say.
