I push away from her abruptly. No... this isn't right. I don't feel right like this. It feels alien.

"What's wrong? Getting cold feet?" She chuckles.

"Look I don't know how to say this, but it has been a long time. Like five-thousand years." I say.

"So? They say love never gets old." She moves her hand around my shoulder.

"It's just..." I start.

"The curse will soon be upon us, and our long-forgotten dream will be reborn." She smiles.

"Look. I've uh... moved on." I say.

She lets out a laugh.

"With her? That fat chick?" She chuckles.

"She's not fat!" I yell.

I grab her hand. She looks up at me.

"Oh, come on Mazzy, have you forgotten that humans are our enemies?" She asks.

"I don't think they're as bad as we first suspected." I say.

"You sound like a weakling. You're the great demon general!" She yells.

"Well maybe I don't want to be like this anymore!" I yell.

I transform back into my human form. She glares at me, but she starts looking sad.

"Mazzy?" She reaches out for me.

I grab her hand.

"It's Merlin." I say.

Tears start swelling in her eyes. I push her back. I turn. I hear her staff roar.

"Merlin! Is everything okay?!" Arthur yells running.

"Merlin!" Snow yells.

Pasheria turns in anger.

"One way or another Mazzy, you will fulfill your curse!" She roars.

She disappears in an angry smoke of clouds and fire. I let out a breath.
