Chapter 50

Today is Saturday and i'm getting ready for our triple date tonight. Originally it was just going to be the girls and I but the guys insisted on going. I've felt kind of awkward around Grayson since that... incident.

I finish packing my night bag when my phone starts buzzing. "You here?" I ask Nora while putting my shoes on. "Yes, hurry up or we're going to be late!" She says before hanging up. I roll my eyes, throwing the bag strap on my shoulder before heading downstairs.

I peak my head into the living room, watching my grandparents dancing. "Sono arrivati, vi amo ragazzi. Ci vediamo domani." "They're here, I love you guys. See you tomorrow." I say, accidentally scaring them.

"Divertiti, sii buono." "Have fun- be good." They say at the same time. I lightly chuckle, waving and muttering 'I will' before heading for the door. As soon as I close the door Kristina starts yelling compliments, saying how good I look.

Nora is yelling out inappropriate things, telling me how Grayson will be all over me. I feel my face getting warmer as I jog to her car.

I'm guessing the guys are taking a different car when I don't see them while getting in. "How far is the place?" I ask while buckling my seatbelt.

"About an hour, the guys are taking Vinnie's car since mom wouldn't let me take the Maybach SUV." Nora says annoyed at the thought of her mom.

I just hum as I watch the world pass by, all the trees and stores blurring together. "So, you and Gray have been getting pretty close lately." Nora says in a suggestive tone, I can see her eyebrows wiggling in the rear view mirror.

I haven't told anyone about Grayson and I besides grandma and grandpa. Of course grandma talked about protection blah, blah, blah but it wasn't too bad, pretty informative to be honest.

"Yeahhhh about that... He asked me out about a week ago." I say with a chuckle. Nora screams, almost swerving off the road. Kristina sits there calmly, as if she already knew.

"AND YOU DIDN'T TELL US?!?!" Nora yells at the top of her lungs. She turns her head towards Kristina, wondering why she isn't freaking out as much as her.

"Why aren't you as surprised as I am?!?" She asks her. Kristina scratch's her arm while looking out the window. "Grayson may have gotten drunk and told me... stuff." She says hesitantly.

"What kind of stuff?" I ask, curious as to why she worded it that way. "Yeah what did he say? Spill the tea." Nora says, just as curious as I am.

"I can't." She sighs, knowing Nora is going to make a big deal out of it. "Why not? Doesn't his GIRLFRIEND deserve to know what he spilled about their relationship?" Nora asks emphasizing the word girlfriend.

"Just that he asked Aven out when we went snowboarding and... Sorry Aven you can't hear the next part." She says before whispering something in Nora's ear.

I see Nora's bottom lip slowly inch out the more Kristina talks. Why can't I hear it? If it's something my boyfriend said about me I should be able to know.

Wow that's weird to think about, Grayson being my boyfriend, or having a boyfriend for that matter.

"That's so cute!!! Makes me want to cry!" Nora whines, fanning her face. I fold my arms, annoyed I can't know.

"Why didn't he tell me any of this?!?" Nora asks once Kristina pulls away. "I wasn't even supposed to know, so don't say anything to him." She says giving her the mom look.

"I won't, I won't." Nora says putting a hand up. Kristina turns back up the music, party in the USA filling the quiet car.

What did Grayson say? Was it about study hall? Would he tell people about that? I'm sure Nora would make fun of me if it was about that.
