Grayson blindfolds me with a shirt before leading me through his house, I hear him open a door before a cold breeze dances around my face. "Watch your step." He says, helping me down three steps.

I know he's taking me to the backyard, my heart is starting to race with anticipation. With each step, I can hear soft rustles of the leaves and a faint smell of roses in the air. "Okay, we are here." He says, slowly taking the blindfold off.

I gasp at the scene before me. The sun dipping behind the mountains causing a gold-ish/ pink hue over the backyard, fairy lights twinkling like stars in the night sky.

A pathway of rose petals leading to a charming shed adorned with more lights and candles, creating a warm and inviting ambiance.

"Grayson, this is.. wow." I can't even think of the right words to describe how beautiful this place is. He smiles, taking my hand and leading me down the rose petal path to the shed. "I wanted to create something special, just for you." He says with a hint of excitement in his voice.

As we make our way into the shed, i'm greeted by a cozy setting that takes my breathe away. A plush bedding adorned with multiple pillows and fuzzy blankets waiting for us to cuddle in.

"I can't believe you did all of this!" I say in disbelief that he would even think to do all of this for me. I sit down, feeling like i'm in a fairy tale my dad use to read me.

Grayson sits down next to me, grabbing my hands as his eyes are locked onto mine with a depth of emotion that makes me wiggle in my spot.

"Aven, I have never met anyone like you. Your kindness knows no bounds, and your compassion touches the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know you. You have a way to see the best in people even if they've treated you so badly." He says, smiling down at me.

"You're laughter... fuck, your laugh is like music to my soul. It's infectious and brings joy to every moment we share. When I hear you laugh, it's like all my worries and doubts fade away." My cheeks are hurting with how hard i'm smiling.

"You're strength is out of this world, I've never met someone as strong as you. You inspire me to be a better person, to strive for greatness and to never lose sight of what truly matters. I love how you get lost in books or creating art with such passion, illuminating everything you touch." He says, tears starting to form in the back of my eyes.

"You have a way of infusing life with beauty and meaning, and I am endlessly captivated by you. And that's just the beginning of why... i'm in love with you." I feel a tear escape my eye as I register what he said.

I giggle through my tears as I throw my arms around his neck, kissing him passionately. "I love you Grayson, more than words can express." I say through kisses. He grabs my face breaking the kiss, wiping my tears away.

"I've been waiting awhile to say that, I just didn't know how to." He chuckles, looking at me, remembering every imperfection as if i'll disappear at any moment. "Every time I wanted to tell you, I would get interrupted." I giggle, remembering how annoyed I got earlier today.

"I got us some desert too." He says reaching over to the little table. He brings out chocolate covered strawberries and my favorite ice cream. "Wow you really thought of everything, huh." I chuckle before grabbing a strawberry.

"Yeah, the group helped too." He says, opening the ice cream. I realize this is what Kristina was talking to Nora about earlier today. "They didn't really go to the store, did they." I ask, finishing the delicious goodness.

"No, they were getting everything ready." He admits before chugging water. "Are they going to watch the movie without us?" I ask, taking a bite of the ice cream. I hope they do because we might be a while.
