Scarlett's POV:

"Luna where the hell are we going?" I ask, my brows furrowed confusingly.

I was in the passenger seat of her shiny black car. Her hands were on the wheel a she sped through traffic, going at a fast pace.

"You camd back worried and told me to pack, I'm really worried about whats going on." I say

"You remember my sister, Livia?" She asks me

"Yes" I answer quickly

"She was taken last night. We know who took her and where she is at, but before we can do anything, I need you to be safe and for you to be alone in our house is not that." She says, swiftly pulling up into the driveway of her parent's house.

We both slide out of the car as we grab our bags, quickly walking through the front door.

"We are back!" Luna shouts through the house once we get inside. She drops our bags on the floor and starts to move towards the kitchen, as I follow behind her.

"Hello Lun-, Scarlett?" Her mom says confusingly.

"Hello Diana." I say, sending her a soft smile.

"For our safety, I have decided that Scarlett will stay here with the rest of us. She needs to be safe and living alone isn't the best. If the hunters are trying to get to us then Scarlett staying with us will be the best idea." Luna says, taking a deep breath as she moves her hands around in her hair.

I look at the woman, quickly noticing her distress. I swiftly hold her hand in mine, rubbing my thumb against the back of her palm, calming her nerves a bit as I give her hand a light squeeze.

"Good idea. Im getting more guards to surround the house". Her father says to Luna, causing her to nod with a hum.

"So whats all going on exactly?" I say to the room, looking around to see some people I've never seen before.

"Around 2am last night Livia was taken. Theres only one thing that can hold us back, and thats the Hunters. A group of Vampire Hunters. And if they are going for Livia, it could only mean that they are after all of us." Luna speaks to all of us, but her eyes still landed on me.

"But i'm not a vampire, so why would they come after me?" I question.

"Because you're associated with us. We don't tell anyone we are vampires, and since you know, that makes you highly important. Therefore, your safety is compromised unless you're with me at all times." Luna speaks to me, this time her whole body facing towards me as she towers over me, looking between both of my eyes.

"So why don't we just kill them?" I say confused.

"Because Scarlett, they aren't just normal people. They have been training for years to take us down, and since they are making an approach now, that means that they have high hopes of beating us." She states

"So let's hustle get them first." I say

"Scarlett, you don't understand. If they hurt you then you can just go to a hospital and get treated. One stake to my heart and I will die, theres no hospital's or ER's that can help us. We are on our own." She says, towering over me as she grabs my hands.

"So I'll kill them" I say. As soon as I do, Luna pulls me even closer to her, a look of worry written on her face.

"You're not going near them, And I'm making this clear for everyone. From now on, I want full security detail on her at all times, me included. If I hear someone even lays a finger on Scarlett, then I'll kill you myself. Did I make myself clear?" She says, raising her voice as she looks around the kitchen. Everyone nodded at her, causing a soft sigh to fall from her lips.

"My love, you are my main priority, and you will stay that way until this whole situation is taken care of." She says, wrapping her hands around my waist as she pulls me in. I pull her closer to me by putting my hands behind her neck, pulling us closer together as she rests her face in the crook of my neck

"Okay" I say breathlessly, holding the blonde woman even closer to me. The air around us seemed to close up, as everyone around us seemed to fade away, as if it was just us in this moment.

Just me and her, no distractions in sight.

"Let me take you to our room" She says, pulling away from me as she grabs my hand, guiding us away from the crowd of people who were looking at us.

She guides me up the long staircase, which leads to a long hallway with many doors attached to it. We walk a few steps, before stopping infront of a set of double doors. Luna quickly entered a code onto the keypad, before it started blinking green, indicating that the door was unlocked for us.

She quickly unlocks the doors,  sliding them both open as I slide through, venturing into the room, which had a contrasted theme to the rest house.

The walls were a white color, while the floor was grey wood. There was a large bed in the middle of them room, which had black and grey covers perfectly sat ontop of it. Across front the bed was a dresser, with a TV mounted above it. The room had a modern yet design, with an attached bathroom and walk in closet.

"This room is amazing" I say, as I plop myself onto the bed. Luna pulls our bags into the room, shutting the door behind her, before she sits down right next to me.

"Thank you, I designed it." She says, a small smile placed on her lips as she looked down at me.

"Well, then its better then amazing, its perfect." I mutter, smiling at her as I looked up into her shiny blue eyes. I wrap my left hand around her neck, before crashing our lips together.

She roughly kisses me back, her hands going to my waist as my right hand wraps around her waist. I pull her even closer to me, our bodies pressing together as we share our warmth.

Luna quickly flipped us over, so that she was now ontop of me, as my back lightly hit the back of the bed.

"I might have to make the walls soundproof." She whispers as she slowly takes my shirt off.

"I love that idea." I whisper, pulling her even closer.
