Ariella was bored out of her mind

Ariella was bored out of her mind. It had been a week and 3 days since Alby had banned her from running. Not that she was counting.

"Hey, Gal Pal" Ariella brightly smiled as she hobbled over to the builder.

"What can I do for you, El?" Gally asked the blonde.

"Please give me a job to do, I'm going to die of boredom. I can't just sit around and do nothing." Ariella huffed in annoyance.

"You're good at making Daisy chains aren't you?" The builder asked although he already knew the answer as Ella had made lots of them since she couldn't go running. "I want you to weave these together to create baskets, okay?"

"I love you, Gally!" Ariella squealed, thankful she had something to do. The girl glader sat down with her legs crossed as she began to weave the material together.

"What's on your mind?" Gally asked sensing there was something else she wanted.

"I had another strange dream." Ariella said as she continued to make the baskets. "Back when I first was in the medjack hut."

"What happened this time?" Gally raised his eyebrow in curiosity at the girl.

"Not just any dream. A super weird dream. Made absolute no sense kind of dream." Ella rambled.

"Okayyy." Gally said dragging out the 'y' sound.

"I was in some sort of weird science lab looking place. There were loads of tubes, beakers and people in white coats. And you were there too, only you looked younger. I was begging for them not to take you away and just before they took you I slipped this note looking thing into the pocket of your clothes. I then got dragged away and stabbed with a sharp needle thingy." Ariella was too focused on weaving the basket together that she didn't see Gallys mouth hanging open in shock as the pieces finally added up and became clear in his head.

"Ella, did the note look like this?" He asked pulling out an old looking price of folded paper.

"It wasn't a dream, was it?" Ariella realised.

"No, it wasn't."

"So, what does the note say?" Aria asked as she didn't remember what she had written. Gally just remained silent and handed the note over for the blonde to read for herself.

'Dear Gal,

I know you won't remember me but if we're lucky and I get thrown into the same maze as you instead of being killed then this note will be useful. But if not i'm sorry for confusing you and that you're stuck with this note and no other answers. But you have a sister named Ariella and you should know that.

love
from
your little sister'

"You're my brother!" Ariella gasped in shock, her tears falling onto the page as she read it again and again. It didn't feel real to her. Gally was her brother.

"I'm your brother" Gally repeated, not quite believing his own words.

"I'm your little sister." The blonde hooked her arms around Gally, hugging her brother.

"What the bloody hell just happened?" Newt asked gobsmacked at the scene that just unfolded.

The two explained to Newt and the rest of the glade how they realised they were related. The whole Glade was shocked but happy for the two. It finally made sense to them why Gally was so nice to the girl.

"So he's your brother?" Minho asked his girlfriend for the third time. No matter how many times he heard the information it still wouldn't settle in his head.

"Yup." Aria nodded, popping the 'p'.
"I still can't believe it either." She mumbled as she rested her head on Minhos chest as they laid in bed together. Ella kept waking up from endless nightmares of Flint and found comfort in sleeping in her boyfriend's arms so they've just shared a bed since.

"How do you feel about it?"

"Confused. I just wish I remembered more about when we were kids, before everything went to shit." Aria sighed.

"I wonder if Gally will give me the protective big brother speech." Minho laughed just at the thought.

"Oh, he definitely will. I'm pretty sure everyone in the Glade has already caught on to our relationship." Ariella smiled to herself. She was finally in a good place and she couldn't be more grateful to have her glade family at her side.

"Everyone seemed to know we loved each other before we even realised it ourselves."

"When did you realise you liked me?"

"Wow, going in for the deep questions." Minho chuckled. "My first thought of you when you went running into that maze is that you were crazy and stupid but I admire that about you. You put everyone and everything before yourself because that's the type of person you are. I've loved you ever since you wanted to be a runner just for the sake of giving others hope."

"That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said about me." Ariella breathed out, smiling up at her loving boyfriend.

"What about you? When did you realise?"

"Well I was in denial about my feelings but realisation finally dawned on me right before we had our first kiss. But I guess I always had this feeling about you since that day we spent talking leaning up against that tree while playing with the flowers."

"My wish that day I made on the dandelion, was that I wanted to have forever with you." Minho enlightened the girl.

"I love you."

"I love you too."
