Ariella repeatedly pressed the elevator button, the blonde girl getting angry at the metal box for taking so long. "About time." Aria grumbled, walking into the lift. Just as the doors were about to close a hand appeared, stopping it. Janson walked in, joining the three in the elevator.
"You're working late." Janson said to Teresa making her chuckle nervously. "See, that's what I like about you, Teresa. No matter how bleak things get, you just... Well, you never give up. Times like this, you need a friend that you can count on."
"I'll bear that in mind." Teresa replied.
"There is one thing you should know. One friend to another. Ariella and Thomas are here." He carefully watched Teresa, the brunette not even flinching at this new information. Teresa slowly turned her head towards him, clearly not knowing how she should react considering Aria was standing next to her with a gun. "A surveillance picked them up outside the walls. Ava didn't want you to know, but there's a chance that he may try to contact you, and if he does, I'd like to think that I'd be your first call."
"Are you going to kill them?"
"Would that be a problem?" He asked her just as the elevator dinged at her stop.
"This is me." She said stepping out and walking away from the rat looking man. Ariella and Thomas followed, Thomas making sure that he bumped into Janson on the way past.
"Aria, you have to listen to me. Getting that serum won't save you. It might buy you some time, but..."
"Ignore her. She's trying to get inside your head. I don't know what bullshit she's on about." Ariella lied, not wanting Thomas to be distracted by her.
"He doesn't know?" Teresa questioned the blonde.
"Just shut up before I shoot you." Ariella sighed, fed up with Teresa.
"Thomas. People are dying. The world is dying. There's something about your blood I don't understand."
"Open it." Thomas ordered her, standing in front of the closed door.
"If you let me run some tests, I promise I can protect you." She falsely promised as she unlocked the door.
"Oh yeah?" Aria snapped, pulling her mask off so she could finally breath. "Like you protected Minho!"
"How many more people do they have to round up, torture, kill? Huh? When the hell does it stop?" Thomas harshly questioned her.
"It stoped when we find a cure."
"There is no godamnn cure!" He spoke through gritted teeth at Teresa. He then loooked over at Ariella, noticing that she did in fact look sick, his eyes widening as he realised Teresa was right and she was infected.
"I know i'm going to die. I came to terms with that." Ariella smiled sadly at him, assuring him that she'd be okay.
"Don't waste your breath, Teresa." Jansons voice sounded, a gun raised up at the trio. "He made his choice long ago."
