white walls. yosanos office was a small room with white walls and a small desk pushed in the far back of the room, papers scattered almost every where in the room along with pieces of equiment. her office was rarely used to have patients unless the status was critical and she needed to keep a close eye on them. like now, evidentally.

dazai sat next to the bed, just barely big enough to fit atsushis small and thin frame.  his feet just slightly hung over the bed as his bretahing stayed shallow and heartbeat infrequent and slow.

it had been 5 days sunce it had happened. 5 days since atsushi slit his wrists and tried to bleed out on the bathroom floor of the agency. the door had now been fixed but the bathroom was still covered in the 18 year olds blood. no one had dared to even get 2 feet near the room ever since, everyone much to scared and upset to try. it felt too much like they were trying to push right past the incident and forget it existed and no one was really interested in doing that just yet. if atsushi asked for that, then maybe, just maybe they would.

atsushis condition hadnt gotten any better ever since. everyone knew the out come. if atsushi was to wake up, hed be too weak to actually do anything and would most likely be bed bound. the damage to his arteries, nerves and blood loss made sure of that.  the other path was atsushi would never wake up and die. either way... atsushi was a lost cause.

yosano had propsed the idea that the lion part of atsushi was regaining energy to heal the 18 year old. that was an idea that most agreed with but at this point it may as well be hopeless. could the tiger heal so much damage? to be fair the tiger did regenerate atsushi a new leg on numerous occasions so it wasnt such a far stretch if you were to truly think about it. but even so, that regeneration took barely 2 minutes to acomplish. surely this shouldnt be any different?

maybe yosanos ability had interfered wuth the tigers initial healing that it had begun when they broke the door down. if that was so, dazai couldnt helo but blame yosano for atsushis condition.

akutagawa had visited. a few times. he obviously thought dazai didnt notice, but he did. dazai noticed.

everyone felt awful for not noticing. it was so obvious. yet, they didnt notice.
