|The Day After.|

My shift at 3 o'clock will be busy.

Today I will be introducing myself to my patient and doing the standard check in and getting filled in on how she's doing.

I am not nervous I'm actually really excited and I feel tuned it with my senses so I can fully present my self presently.

I keep thinking that I am actually going to be helping bring a lives into this world. I am blessed.

"And DONE!" I dang near scream as I finish my  1st final which is one of two. I am in the middle of my Associate degree in Nursing and I have already finished and passed my NCLEX Exam. Even though before I've decided to further my education I already had a certificate to be doula which the only difference between a L&D nurse is that I can administer any medicine or actively help woman give birth,a doula is more of emotional support like being there before during and after birth to help emotionally and physically.

I just feel at this point in my life I'm just upgrading.

I close my laptop as I move into my kitchen.

I'm hungry.

I'm just going to make me some Salmon Alfredo so I can have some for my break on my shift.

I'll bring Mandy some to.

I shift around as I hear my phone ring.

"Hello." I speak into the phone as I rinse my salmon.

"I have the time and date of the architectural meeting coming up." My brother shouts into the phone.

I'm happy he's excited.

"Oh okay period!" I cheese.

"So it's next month on the second of October. I'll pick you up obviously and we can head there together."
