I rush out of the room before he can say anything, I know not my best moment but I just can't deal right now.

I breathe out sigh as my phone rings for the 60th time in the last 2 hours.

I make my way towards the lounge.

It's my mom.

I watch my phone ring with a frown, why can't she just leave me alone.

I sigh as I lean against the lockers.

I don't know what happened but I just break down crying.

Crying for a break a mental and emotional break!

Physically I'm fine I can do this all day but dang!

I sobbed for like 15 minutes before I pulled myself together. I got to get home my brother and his family are coming over for dinner.

I making seafood macaroni.

My phone rings again, I sigh. I look to see if the name blowing up my phone has changed and in pure disbelief I seen it has to a name I haven't seen in a long time.

Dad.

I answer quickly.

"Hey dad, how have you been.?" I asked. I haven't seen or talked to my dad in months. Honestly I didn't think to call or text him because last time we talked it  was all about how I'm disrespectful to my mother. Pollux being disrespectful... never the case now Pollux being disrespected... always the case.

"What's it I hear about you and your mom fighting! YOU PUT YOUR HANDS ON YOUR MOTHER!" He shouts into the phone and i hear my mother taunting in the back.

I hang up.

I'm grown I don't have to deal with them at all...ever again.

I'm done with people who don't respect me, my choices or my well-being.

I'm done.

About and half hour later I'm back at home prepping to cook and phony nieces and nephews toys that they keep over here out.

I move around my kitchen effortlessly as I grate the last little bit of cheese on top of the macaroni also adding some jalapeños. I clean as I cook so all I really had to do was wipe the counters and then I'm going to shower while it's baking in the oven and chill until they get here.

I can't wait to see my nieces and nephews! It's been a couple weeks. I've been busy on call, Pallas has been busy with plans for the house and everything got lost in translation.

I grab my night clothes and put them on my bed neatly and then head into my bathroom.

I run my hot shower water as I undress. I look in the mirror for a minute or two admiring myself and saying a couple affirmations before I step into my shower slowly breathing out because this hot water feels so good running down my body.

It's feel amazing to be relaxing.

I stay in the shower for another 10 minutes before I step out and dry off and quickly but not rushing to get dress in my wide leg sweats with a white fitted tank top and some fluffy socks, I slip on my slippers as I move towards the kitchen.

Just as I walk in the timer goes of, right on time I think as I slip on my black oven mittens to pull the food out the oven.

I sit it down for it to cool off just as a knock sounds off through my apartment.

They're here.

I pull open the door as my 2 nieces and 2 nephews scream my name.

"Uncle P" they shouted almost in union which is kind of creepy.

I feel my little nieces hugging my legs as I bend down to hug them back. Then my oldest nephews give me a quick side hug before getting back on their electronics.

"I missed you guys; so much! How's school?" I asked as I guide them towards the living room.

"Make their plates Pallas, there in the lower cupboard." I shout as I move to give my nieces the toys I recently brought.

I have two nieces in which they're are twins, Anissa and Ariel age 5 then there is the two boys Aaron age 10 and Alaric age 15.

They are my whole hearts, I never really planned of having kids of my own but that's okay because I have them.

"Come eat." I hear Pallas say from the kitchen.

I lead them into the kitchen as we all grab our respective plates and get ready to watch a movie and eat. I always enjoy time with my family.

Always.

Always
