I squint at him as he stares at me.

Pallas is long gone, and he's still hasn't said a word.

"So?" I trailed off waving my hand around.

"Right right uhm I just want to say sorry about the way I acted at the hospital, I was embarrassed, and I thought you were judging me." He spoke clearing his throat.

"Just because your sorry doesn't make what you did right." I speak softly.

"Oh of course I know that I just wanted to let you know that I am sorry."

"Are you only apologizing so you can have my brother as a client because of the money?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"What no, not at all in fact I am going to lower the price just because your brother is passionate, and he basically did half of the work already. Look Pollux I honestly just wanted to apologize, if you feel like my intentions are disloyal by all means I can recommend other amazing architectural firms." He said looking into my eyes.

"My brother really wants this and as much as I feel like your attitude is stank, I'm not going to put him through more long nights of finding the right architect because he thinks it's you so yeah, I'm over it." I say calmly.

"Amazing! I'm excited to work with you and your brother. I'm really passionate about helping people build their dream houses."

"Yeah, well thank you for accepting the project."

I get up and so does he. We both walk towards the door as he follows with some papers in his hands.

We get to the door as I turn slightly at the sound of his voice as my hand lies flat against the door ready to push it open.

"Oh, let me get the door for you!" He speaks.

"Oh no it's ok—." My sentence is cut short as he catches me off guard by sliding pass me very closely to the point where I can smell the essential oils he's wearing.

We both pause as the front of our bodies rub ever so slightly together.

"It's okay I got it; it can be heavy sometimes." He says almost breathless as he looks away flustered.

The sound of a throat being cleared knocked us out of our trance.

I snap my head to the side to see a smirking Pallas. I internally roll my eyes as I forgot the door was even open.

Never going to happen.

Ahmad also cleared his throat.

"So, here's some papers to sign and fill out pertaining to the expansion. We have clients fill them out at home as far as it being the most beneficial so you can see your home up close and decide what you want to add and take from your home."

"After today we will schedule one more one on one informational meeting and then I'll gather my team and partner and we'll have a meeting together and then the rest of the meetings will be at the project site which in your case it will be your home." He added to.

"Okay thanks man I am to hype to start this journey." Pallas says shaking his hand.

"I am to can't wait to start an actual passion project!" Ahmad says.

"Nice meeting you and see ya at our next meeting!" Pallas says.

"See ya!" Ahmad says smiling his million-dollar smile.

"Bye Pollux." He says looking at me.

I tuck my lips in as I give a short wave and Pallas and I slowly walk back towards the way we came in.

My thoughts are scrambled and as I try to unscramble them, I turn around as I feel an intense gaze on, I turn back around, and I am met with that stare of Ahmad's again.

I blink.

Strange man, I think too myself.
