Pollux jumped to put his jeans on as he rushed to get ready.

The decorator was already at Ahmad's setting up, so he was running late, he's quite sure Ahmad could handle it because after all, he does have an architect mindset, but he was asked to be there.

Now that he thinks about it, why does he need to be there? Ahmad's there and
he hired a decorator. These thoughts made Pollux squint at nothing.

"Hmm." He trailed off as he slipped his ballerina pink crocs on.

Right when he was leaving out the door Ahmad's contact appeared on his phone screen making him immediately hit the lit-up green button.

"I am on my way right now, I am so sorry I'm running a bit late. I'm still running on hospital time." Pollux expressed as he tucked his phone in between his ear and his shoulder as he unlocked his 2024 Dodge Hornet.

Recap

"Pallas, I do not want that car! Honestly, you should have just stayed home." Pollux complained as Pallas kept bothering him about a G-Wagon.

"Why not, you have the money and way to hurt my feelings." Pallas communicated back as Pollux rolled his eyes.

Before Pollux could reply, Pallas started again.

"And truth be told if I didn't come with you, you'd probably leave here with no money. You're pretty naïve when it comes to people getting out on you." Pallas joked as Pollux tried to swat his arm.

"It's about my comfort P, not my money!" Pollux expressed for what seemed like most of the day as he ignored the rest of what P said.

"Yeah, yes bout time you're even getting a car! You are the biggest I get things done by procrastination person I ever met."

"Whatever let's head to the next dealership."

.......................

"It's okay, we're making some good progress," Ahmad spoke as he leaned against the counter watching the decorator slip blue pillowcases onto his black pillows.

"I was calling to see if you could pick up some cupcakes on your way. I accidentally dropped the other ones." Ahmad chuckled slightly as he heard Pollux snort.

Pollux just shook his head.

"So what time is the party starting?" Pollux questioned as he pulled his phone out checking the time.

"Starts at 5," Ahmad spoke keeping it short as he wrapped the utensils with pink napkins and bows.

"Oh okay... where's the decorator?" Pollux questioned again.

"She left." Ahmad shortened once again. He told her to leave, she was pissing him off and to avoid getting even madder and taking it out on Pollux he did not want to talk about it. He did not want to seem like an asshole to Pollux.

Once again.

"Are you okay?" Pollux asked him as he eyed him before his eyes dropped to his shoes.

"Yeah."

"Are you sure be—." Pollux started to say but was interrupted when Ahmad slammed the bowl down loudly as a form to silence him. Pollux flinched slightly; his trigger was loud noises so when the silence became loud, he excused himself.

"I left a pillowcase in the car, I'll be back." He whispered timidly as Ahmad sighed and rubbed his forehead in frustration, this was exactly what he did not want to do but look.

"Pollux don't lea—."

"I'm not." Pollux interrupted.

"P—." Ahmad started to say but Pollux was already walking away.

Hearing the door shut he cursed.

Slamming the bowl down multiple times after the fact as a form of releasing his anger. He was not shocked when it broke into pieces nor when it cut his hand in several different places.

"FUCK!" He screamed clutching his hands tightly.

On second thought his anger issues are not quite healed just yet.

Meanwhile, in his car, Pollux sniffled as tears streamed down his face. He wasn't mad at Ahmad; he was just triggered. Recently Pollux started having panic attacks, due to his history of chaos he did not realize that yelling and screaming about every little thing was not normal, and being verbally abused was not close to normal either at least in certain people's households now in his, it was very reoccurring.

So, for the last couple of days sudden loud noises have been triggering him. It's like the symptoms were lying dormant in his mentality.

He doesn't know how he's going to navigate this newly founded chapter in his life.

He thought it was getting better.

And only if he knew.

It took me awhile to put this out because I wasn't feeling it🥲💕 But as always thanks you for reading
