The orange-haired girl had announced social service in such a happy tone...
She almost felt bad for the silence that rebuffed her back. Almost.
"Why should we be happy about doing social work?" Asked Akira, who would have thought that he could make such rational and normal questions? Most of the students that had left his immediate area also looked at him as if he had grown another head.
"What?" Glared Akira at the students. Rena, for her part, was just nodding, as if everyone else had seen the light or something. Of course, she glared at her when she noticed that Elizabeth was also looking at Akira.
Calm girl, not going to take your boy toy away from you.
"Thought you at the very least would like this Akira." Said the orange-haired girl while pointing a remote at the screen and clicking a button. Soon enough, a magical circle materialized at the tip of the remote, and presto!
The screen projected...A PowerPoint presentation.
"Wait, a second...What button was it..." Mumbled the secretary of the student council. After a few minutes of fumbling around she finally managed to start the presentation.
"This social service consists of you all going into the city and searching for things to do with your power set." Said Selen, while showing photos taken from a newspaper about sidekicks or brand new heroes.
"The school doesn't encourage any type of work. You can do whatever you want." And soon enough, other photos were shown, photos of Villains, photos of henchmen, photos of minions... Even a photo of a delivery man...That looked suspicious...Blonde.
Nah, she must be imagining things. That guy looked closer in age to Alexa than to Alexanders, no way in hell.
"Granted, you will need to file a report on your activities or show evidence of working in the persona you filed as a powered or mage." And sure enough, the presentation advanced showing the scanned image of a report.
It even had the name of the reporter, Selen, and while it had her last name censured, one could imagine what it said.
More importantly, it showed her as...A delivery girl? What?
"And of course, if you have pictures, you have to add them." She moved to the next slide in the presentation.
There it was indeed the secretary of the student council...Somewhat younger looking with a face full of freckles and a cheap-looking magical girl outfit.
She...Didn't have a very good [Defense Nodes] since she was making the connection quite easily.
"If you don't have a discovered talent yet, this is the chance you need to find it." Said the girl while moving on to the next slide in the presentation.
There was a new picture where she was outside a church delivering some...a dubious-looking parcel.
The contents were censored once again and she really didn't want to look closer.
The next few slides were of her in a priestess-style magical girl dress and a new report file. Now with a new work as a priestess there.
"I found my [Affinity] was closer to [Holy] in my social service. Before I was training as a [Wind] attuned magical girl for long-range deliveries. Now after graduating, I will be working as a [Holy Aligned] magical girl fighting incursions into this plane." Smiled brightly the orange-haired girl.
Somehow she still thought that she was in the wrong line of work... But if the student council president wasn't advising her against that, perhaps her [Origin] was that?
