"Thanks, baby," You smiled as Hanni opened the door to the ice cream shop for you to enter.

Your hand took ahold of hers as soon as you stepped inside and the door closed.

Despite being with Hanni for a while now, it still makes your heart flutter each time she intertwines her fingers with yours when you hold her hand.

So when she did it again, you'd smile grew and she giggled at the sight because she knows how much you love it when your fingers are intertwined with hers.

"What would you like?" She asked as you reached the front counter.

But since you've never been to this particular ice cream shop before, you wanted to see the different options.

"Can we have a moment?" Hanni asked the worker, sensing that it would be a minute before you were ready.

"Of course! Take your time."

Hanni hugged you from behind and you melted into her embrace as you both looked at the different flavors together.

The ice cream shop wasn't empty.

Besides you and Hanni, there was a group of girls there too.

And it didn't take very long for them to recognize Hanni.

"Is that Hanni?" One of them asked.

Hanni turned her head at the mention of her name and she waved to the fans staring over at her.

"It is! Oh, my god! It's Hanni!"

They jumped out of their seats and rushed over to you both.

And while they were overjoyed to see Hanni standing there in front of them, they were noticeably unhappy to see you.

"Oh..." One of them said to another, loud enough for you and Hanni to hear. "Great. Her girlfriend is here too."

You tried to brush the comment off.

Being with Hanni comes with more than its fair share of negativity.

You're used to it at this point.

"Can I help you?" Hanni asked them.

"Can we have a picture with you?"

Hanni looked at you and you stepped back, more than happy to let her fans have a few moments with her despite the comment made before.

"Sure." Hanni kindly said.

"Thank you!"

"Baby, can you take it?" Hanni asked you.

"Oh," The fan with her phone out said. "I don't want her touching my phone. We can just take a selfie together!"

Hanni furrowed her eyebrows at the fan's remarks.

"I'm sorry?" She asked, completely taken aback.

"I don't like her." The fan said. "I don't want her touching my phone."

"Okay, look, I didn't mind taking a picture with you despite that first comment made about my girlfriend because she wasn't upset about it. But now you're just being rude."

"If you're going to make a whole speech talking about how amazing she is, you can save it for someone else. My opinion of her won't ever change."

"And what opinion is that exactly?" Hanni wondered as she folded her arms over her chest.

"All of us have never understood what you see in her and why you're with her. She's not pretty, she has a very annoying personality and voice, and she's always with you." Another girl said.

"She's always with me because she's my girlfriend. I love and care about her very much and having her with me makes me happy. She brings me comfort. I think you just don't like her because she's the one I'm dating and not someone else like another idol or even one of you." Hanni said.

"You could do better." Another said.

"I'm not taking that photo anymore." She said before turning around to face you. "Decide what you want, my love?"

"Excuse us. We're still standing here and you said you'd take a picture with us."

"That's before you guys started acting so entitled and rude. I'm not obligated to take photos with anybody. I do it to be nice. But if you can't be nice in return, I'm not doing it. There was no need to be that rude. It was very uncalled for. You can keep your unwanted comments to yourself if you dislike my girlfriend so much."

Hanni returned to your side and wrapped you in her arms before kissing your cheek as the fans watched.

"Let's get our stuff and go." One of them said in anger.

They stormed out a moment later, muttering to each other and continuing to make rude remarks about you.

But you didn't care.

Hanni loves you just as you are.

And no matter what anyone else says or thinks, you're the one who gets to love and be loved by her.

You're the lucky one at the end of the day and words from strangers will never bother you when you're so adored by her.
