Danielle is unkind to you as a prank to see Hanni's reaction (requested)

"Y/N? Baby, are you ready? We have to go!" Hanni shouted down the hall.

You rushed out of the bedroom as you finished fixing your hair and followed Hanni downstairs as the girls walked into the house.

"Hey! We're just about ready." Hanni smiled as she finished putting her shoes on.

"Y/N, this is your first event with us. Are you nervous at all?" Hyein asked.

"A little." You confessed. "But I'm excited! I bought this new dress and I'm in a good mood, I'm looking forward to it!"

However, your smile faded as Danielle said,

"Wait.. that's what you're wearing tonight? You do realize this is a huge event for us, right? You could've at least tried to look good."

Hanni looked at her friend in shock.

"What did you just say?"

"Nothing." Danielle said before forcing a smile.

"You're lying. I heard what you said. I can't believe you'd say something like that! That's rude."

"Danielle, you should apologize to Y/N. That was uncalled for." Minji said.

"What? You want me to lie again? Hanni got mad the last time I did that."

You lowered your head, pretending to be hurt by her words.

"Stop making my girlfriend feel bad and apologize!"

"Fine." Danielle said as she clenched her jaw. "Y/N, I'm sorry."

You looked up at her and sent her a relieved smile, only for it fade once more as she continued.

"That you have such terrible taste in fashion."

"She looks good! She'd even look good in a trash bag."

"She should've worn that instead, it would've been a better choice."

"Danielle!" Haerin said and shook her head at her friend.

"I'm just saying what we're all thinking!"

The second Hanni glanced at you and saw tears filling your eyes, she became overwhelmed with anger.

"You know what!?" She yelled and stepped closer to Danielle. "I've had enough! All of these comments you've made have been so out of line but now she's about to cry. You've crossed one too many lines! Apologize, now! Or else, we're going to have some serious issues."

Hanni's blood was boiling; the girls practically saw smoke coming out of her ears.

"Now!" Hanni shouted.

"Fine." Danielle replied before looking at you.

And after a second of silence, her eyes lit up and a grin appeared on her face.

"Good job, Y/N!"

You laughed as she hugged you tight and Hanni looked at the two of you in shock.

"Wair... what? Good job? What's happening?"

"I knew she'd pull that prank off well but the tears were an excellent extra touch!" Haerin laughed.

"What's happening?" Hanni wondered.

"It was just a prank." You told her.

"That was a prank!?"

"We wanted to see how you'd react to someone being rude to Y/N. We knew you'd get super protective of her." Minji smiled.

"Well, yeah, of course I would. She's my girl and I wouldn't ever tolerate anyone talking to her that way." Hanni said before looking at Danielle.

"Are we okay? You know I'd never say anything like that to her." Danielle said.

"I know. We're good." Hanni assured before Danielle hugged her.

"And, by the way, Y/N, you look incredible. Hope I didn't hurt your feelings or anything."

"Not at all." You said with a smile as she threw her arms around you for a hug.

"By the way, Hanni, if you and Y/N ever split up, I call dibs."

"Alright, go," Hanni said as she playfully began to push Danielle out of the room.

You laughed as Hanni wrapped you in her arms and lovingly kissed her cheek.

"Are you mad at me for the prank?"

"Not at all. It was very clever."

"Thank you."

She kissed your lips.

"You do look good in this dress though. Can we just stay home?" She asked before raising her eyebrows playfully.

"Not a chance. Come on, let's go."

You took her hand and pulled her to the door where the girls were waiting, all of them smiling from ear to ear as the excitement grew of you attending this event with them; the first of many, because you're so adored by all of them.
