falling asleep in her arms (requested)

"Are you feeling okay?" Hanni asked as she ran her fingers through your hair.

You looked at her with tired eyes and shrugged your shoulders before yawning sleepily.

You're curled up in her arms on the couch, trying to stay awake but failing.

Hanni can tell that you're tired.

You're not exactly feeling the greatest today, so keeping yourself awake hasn't been all that easy.

Your period just started and it's already making you feel pretty terrible, even though it's only been a few hours since it first began.

You know that you're going to be miserable over these next few days, so you're dreading them.

But, thankfully, Hanni has a couple of days off so you get to spend some much-needed time wrapped in her arms as you rest up and relax a bit.

"Are you still nauseous and tired?"

You wordlessly nodded in response.

"Is there anything else that you need, darling?" She asked.

"No. All I need is you." You said.

Hanni smiled a little and watched you lay your head back down on her chest.

"I'm right here, my love." She said as she slightly tightened her arms around you. "I won't let you go."

Your eyes felt heavy and you struggled to keep them open as you stared at the tv.

You only caught a minute of the film before your eyes slipped shut as Hanni began to play with your hair; something that always helps you drift off to sleep when you're tired.

"I missed you." You said before breathing out a contented sigh. "I missed you holding me and I missed spending time with you."

"I've missed you more, my love." She said as she rubbed your back. "I'm happy that we get to spend the next couple of days together."

"I'm sorry I don't feel good." You said as you opened your eyes and stared into hers with a disappointed expression.

It's not how you pictured your time being spent together.

You'd much rather be awake and spend the time making out and watching movies with Hanni.

But at least you've got her to hold onto.

That's all you truly care about.

"Don't be sorry. Even if I'm taking care of you, I'm still spending time with you. That's all I want." She assured with a sweet smile.

She leaned down and kissed your forehead, causing a small smile to pull at your lips in response.

"You look so tired." She whispered as she stared at you lovingly. "Close your eyes, get some rest."

"Will you keep holding me in your arms?"

"Honey, you're silly for thinking I'd even let you go in the first place." She said as she held you a little tighter. "Don't worry, baby. I've got you."

You didn't fight the urge to fall asleep and gave in to the tiredness you felt as you drifted off to sleep.

"I love you, my girl; so much." She whispered as she kissed your cheek.

"I love you too, Hanni," You sleepily spoke in response, making Hanni smile a little more and hold you a little closer.
