As soon as Hanni walked through the front door of your house and saw you sitting on the sofa with your head hung, she knew something wasn't right.

"Hey, are you okay, baby?" She asked as she set the takeout on the table. "What's going on?"

She took your hand into hers and intertwined your fingers together as she stared at you.

"We need to talk, Hanni."

"That doesn't sound good. It almost sounds like you're breaking up with me." She chuckled nervously.

You turned your head and stared into her eyes before wordlessly nodding your head, confirming her thoughts.

"You are? What?" She frowned.

You thought she'd pull her hand away from yours but she just held it tighter, unable to bring herself to let it go.

"Why? What did I do?"

"Nothing."

"Is it something I didn't do?" She asked.
"Y/N, whatever it is, whatever's wrong, we can fix it. I'll fix it."

"Hanni, it's not you. I just can't do this anymore." You said.

"But... I love you, baby." She said as her lower lip trembled.

"I love you too." You whispered.

"Well, if we love each other, there's no reason to break up." She said with a hopeful tone.

"Hanni-"

"No! Give me a reason, baby. I don't want to hear you say it's not me and I don't want you to lie to me. Tell me truthfully what's bothering you."

You went quiet, making her worry more.

"Are people saying things online? Is it the fans? Or the media? Is it because of how busy I've been? Is it because we don't get enough time together? Tell me what it is, please!"

She was tearing up as if she was about to cry as she pleaded with you to tell her the truth and tell her what was wrong.

"I love you so much. I don't want to lose you. Please don't go, don't leave me, baby."

"Shh, baby." You said as you wrapped your arms around her and held her tight. "I'm not leaving you. I never would."

"Then what's going on?" She asked as you brushed your thumbs below her eyes to dry her tears. "Talk to me."

"I was just pranking you."

"Pranking?" She asked as she gazed at you in disbelief. "What? This was all a prank? That's so messed up!"

You knew it was.

Truthfully, you didn't want to do this but your friends had been pulling the same prank on their partners and they wanted you to pull it on Hanni.

"I'm so sorry."

She frowned and shook her head in sadness.

"I won't ever do it again."

"You shouldn't have done it in the first place."

"I know. You're completely right. I'm so sorry."

She sighed as she looked at you.

"I'm a horrible girlfriend. I get if you actually want to break up with me for real now."

"No, I don't. And you're not a horrible girlfriend. You just did a stupid thing." She said, making you smile a little.

"Can you please forgive me?"

"Yes. Because I love you so much."

"I love you too." You grinned.

"But don't do it again. Or else, next time, I might actually break up with you." She teased.

"I'd deserve it but I swear, there won't be a next time."

"Good. Now give me a kiss." She smiled.

You put your lips on hers and gave her a sweet kiss, making her heart fill with love and happiness.
